Surprise surprise! This market is extremely well stocked. It has a small produce section but a very large deli and Hispanic food section that is unbeatable in the area. It also has a great amount of seafood and bakery items. I was completely shocked the first time I went in. It has seasonal decorations, cards and gifts and a lot of fun items. It's clean, well-organized and has tons of parking. Feels like a safe area too.

This is a very nice store. The employees are great. But there are a lot of very rude customers here. The people who work in their deli are very rude. The first time I was here they refused to tell me if I should take a number or where the numbers were. Today I asked for a half pound of seafood salad and he filled the half pound container with a quarter pound. When I walked away all the deli employees kept making comments. I walked out of yet another grocery store. What is it about Wilkes-Barre that all their grocery store employees are rude and refuse to do their job.

Asked for 1.99 per pound salad got 2 pounds and was charged over $10 and charged over $4 per pound and specifically asked to make sure that’s what I was getting, didn’t notice until much later in the day, massively disappointed since I am a senior on limited income

Nice, family owned grocery store. The employees are normally pleasant and the store is well stocked. Their prices are definitely higher than other grocery stores though, unless you get a sale or a special deal. The store is conveniently located though, which is a plus for sure.

I go here a lot to get groceries I never had any bad service and the prices are always good love their baked goods as well as their subs and salads. Never stuck in a line they are well staffed when it comes to cashiers compared to most grocery stores and just stores in general. Glad to have this as a local grocery store!

I have been shopping at Schiels for 4 years. I've been watching there prices going higher and higher. I know all stores have increases, however, their prices are uncalled for. Especially when many are their own Best Yet products. The rotisserie chicken is $8.99 and it's the smallest chicken in the valley! It's now a "sale item" only place to shop.

They offer a homemade chicken pot pie in there hot and ready to go section..worst I have ever had..canned vegetables..no gravy..and there was not 1 piece of chicken in the whole thing..my family was looking forward to trying it and it was a waste of money. Gotta step it up..sorry
