Absolutely one of the best sandwich I have ever had.
I ordered an off-the-menu vegetarian sandwich recommended by the staff (I would suggest the owner to put it on the menu :)). All the ingredients inside are super fresh. There are hummus, tomato, basil pesto, mustard, absolutely sweet onion, super fresh vegetables and freshly sliced cheese. I never knew I can taste the difference between freshly sliced cheese and already sliced cheese until today. I bought one, finished it in my car and immediately went back to have another one. I also ordered potato salad and it's also pretty good.
The staff is very nice and friendly. Will definitely visit again.

Great little neighborhood grocery store with an eclectic selection of items as well as a Boars Head selection of meats and sandwich offerings. I tried their reuben. It was good, but a little different. Instead of sauerkraut they used coleslaw. And it worked well enough, except the small bits of carrot added a new flavor to your standard reuben that I'm not entirely sure worked. Still killed it, though.

I also have to say, their potato salad showed great potential. The seasoning, vinegar, and sweetness was all spot on in a way that most potato salads miss the mark on. Really excellent in this regard! But there is nothing else going on either! If they added some celery and red onion this would be a top notch potato salad! Or really anything! This potato salad is just potato and dressing!

I also grabbed one of the ice cream sandwiches that I've never seen before from the freezer in the back and it was tremendous! Peanut butter and concord grape ice cream sandwich, heck ya!

Overall, I'll also say, their selection is impressive for their size. I will definitely be back since I now live within walking distance. I look forward to trying some more of their offerings!

The deli sandwiches are delicious. I chose a Mancini Hoagie roll and great fresh condiments on my Italian sandwich!!

Nice selection of local goods. They offer some quality sandwiches made fresh upon order. The only down side is that it can be quite expensive there.

Nice clean store, with friendly employees. I've gone here several times when I've needed a couple things, and didn't want to go to the supermarket. Prices are good for a neighborhood store.
PS: I went to two other stores in the area to buy a loaf of bread.. neither had any. But this store was well stocked!
Still great!

I absolutely love this market ; I stop here for the fuel for my day right before I jump into my task for work . The people are the friendliest and make you feel like family ..

The fruit is always fresh, the deli and the sandwiches are the absolute best for your in between task "lunch" break.

And there are a few other specialty items, drinks and snacks but my favorite has to be THOSE HOMEMADE CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES!!.

Well worth taking a stop at!

Thank you everyone there !!!

Editing my review. I moved to Highland Park probably 3 years ago or so and this market has kind of been a really easy stop for me. Convenient location where you can fulfill some basic buys. I've bought shelved stuff and also their meat, cheese, menu food. All good. The staff/cashiers are all great and friendly.
But I've finally decided to just avoid giving business to this spot. I may stop in some day when I'm in a bind for time, but the prices have been raised so many times since I've started going here. The other day I went in to buy a single item and realized the price was raised again, and walked out. It was already priced high compared to anywhere else, which is fair, I get that is the economical caveat of a small market. But there's definitely a limit to the "why am I paying this" feeling
