Visiting my home town (I now live halfway across the state) and stopped here for the first time. The staff is welcoming, kind, helpful, and knowledgeable. The yarn is very reasonably priced, and they carry a wonderful selection. I found the perfect buttons for a sweater that has been tough to match. I found Lantern Moon finishing needles that I'd been looking for. And of course, I couldn't leave without some yarn. I look forward to many return visits.

I visited Twist Knitting & Spinning while in New Hope. The staff were friendly and helpful without being overbearing. Even the customers around the store were pleasant and nice to talk to.

The yarn selection was great. While I was just looking for a couple skeins as a souvenir for my trip, I noticed there was plenty of variety in fiber, color, weight, etc. There was a nice selection of tools and notions. Prices on everything were exactly what you'd expect them to be at a shop like this.

After visiting a handful of yarn shops, I've come to notice that the yarn is often very similar, but the staff makes all the difference. In that respect, Twist earned every one of their five stars!

My ONLY complaint is that the link to their Instagram seems broken, so I couldn't tag them in my post showing off my new yarn!

I had a really weird situation there. The staff was friendly and helpful at first but later I was pulling out my phone from my purse to double check the yardage for my pattern and a staff member said. “You aren’t putting yarn in your bag are you ?” The staff member asked to see inside my bag which I showed had no yarn it. I hope this isn’t happening to many people there as it was really embarrassing. I don’t think I will be coming back when I visit New Hope.

Twist is the best yarn shop I can imagine. The yarn is well curated in terms of quality, color and weight. Notions are excellent quality. The best features, however, are the warmth and knowledge of the owner and staff. They are always willing to help in selection and any problems you may have in executing a pattern.

Fantastic yarn store! They stock some amazing yarns. The also stock weaving supplies, and looms and spinning wheels. If you are a knitter, you will love this place.
