Discovered this place by chance, and it was such a pleasant surprise. I was working out of a nearby cafe, but unfortunately they did not have any food and I was extremely hungry, so I looked up any food places nearby. This Deli was only a couple minutes away, and people were raving about the corned beef sandwich so that is what I got. The deli is pretty simple and has some selection of drinks and snacks, but the sandwich corner is very prominent with neatly stacked ingredients and very sweet ladies who are making the sandwiches. The lady who took my order was extremely sweet and nice, and she asked me for my choice of bread, cheese, and toppings. For $13, the sandwich was massive and an absolute steal. I haven’t had any corned beef sandwiches in my life, but for what it was, it was extremely tasty. it came with two thinly sliced pickles, which added a nice acidity to the fatty meat. I was so hungry. I literally ate it while waiting for my bus. Absolutely 10/10.

The food here is exceptional, I love coming and getting the corn beef sandwich on any kind of bread when I can afford the entire lunch combo including a side, drink, and snack. Love it here, this is my A-1 store.

The best sandwiches in the city of Pittsburgh. The sandwiches are always fresh, the bread meat and toppings are always fresh, never once over 15 plus years have I had a bad experience. Customer service has also been very excellent!!!

Very clean, the owner and staff are very respectful and attentive and polite to each customer. VERY DELICIOUS SANDWICHES of all kinds. Precise when making your sandwich! Everything is very fresh and very neatly made! They also, have salads, convenient store things as well. One stop shop.
With these sandwiches, you can make another sandwich out your one sandwich!!! 🥪 Not stingy @ all!!! I appreciate MR. Sam and his crew!!!! I’m from the Hill District and I appreciate the fact that there is a place such as this to come back to! It should be a HISTORICAL LANDMARK!!!!!!

I've lived most of my life on the Hill and didn't know this place existed until a friend pointed it out. The staff members are very friendly and the sandwiches are fresh and delicious. We got a corn beef and a turkey - both were a hefty size and worth the $12.95/$10.95
This will be a once or twice a year treat!!

Sam is a staple in our community forever ❤️. When you go there, you are treated like family. Fast, efficient service from kind, knowledgeable staff. Fresh deli and food. Clean atmosphere and great sandwiches 😋 I like turkey on wheat.
