Living in Virginia and hunting for an Italian joint that tastes like home? Forget about it! So far, I've had better luck finding a unicorn in my backyard. It's like Grandma secretly came back from retirement just to keep those recipes hidden from Virginia. However, Pittsburgh's got my back! Whenever I visit, I hit up my go-to spot, stockpiling enough Italian treats to make a colosseum jealous. Their service? It’s out of this world. And guess what? They're looking for recruits too! Time to trade in that Virginia for some authentic Italian baked goods!

Holy Cannoli, this bakery will release your deepest cravings. However, this is a favorable bakery, not a great bakery. Cannolis are recommended, and they’re filled to order. They use ricotta for the filling, so if you prefer mascarpone, these are not for you. You can get them with nuts or jimmies. Their other pastries are quite satisfying as well, and so very sweet. The coconut cream pie is another addicting choice. Service meets today’s standards and the wait times were typical. Staff were accommodating, polite, and efficient. Atmosphere is also what you would expect for this type of bakery. There’s sufficient lighting, and the cold cases have clean glass so you can see all the tasty treats clawing at your temptation. I would definitely suggest that you make time for a visit. This would be a great place to order a birthday cake, grab some baked happiness for girls night, or design your own variety for a work function.

Made my grandmother wait after 3 separate gentleman cut her. I was with her and they turned their backs on her everytime until she finally piped up and than the woman said she was helping the gentleman who cut her. After this they stood around talking to another guy and then the one started cleaning as we were STILL waiting to have our order taken

Tony was fantastic to work with for our wedding cake and desserts! He was easy to communicate with, and he allowed us to try many different dessert options so that we could pick out what we wanted for our wedding. The cutting cake was just what we wanted, and the cookies and pastries impressed my Italian family and were very delicious! Moio's is also an excellent value compared to other bakeries we researched for wedding desserts.

Can I just tell you how amazing this bakery is!!! I have gotten many cakes from them and each one was good, but this last cake I got for my granddaughter was so good that it’s been over a week and people are still asking me for cake!!! The decorators are so talented. I can go on and on. If you have not tried this bakery PLEASE DO!!!! You won’t be disappointed!!!

Just moved back to Pa from FL. I was in charge of my little cousins birthday cake and I just want to say with the help of Moios, it was perfect! Everyone loved the cake, it was beautiful, tasted amazing and was a good price overall. They also have so many different pastry/bakery goodies!
