Buying an engagement ring was daunting and I shopped a lot of places to make sure that I ended up with the right product inside my budget. The major chain stores were crazy priced and had silly warranty restrictions- then I visited Dapel. Put simply, Paul gave me the confidence that I was getting an amazing ring at a fair price. Paul is great! His shop feels like a local jeweler and you don't feel overwhelmed like you do at the big chains. He provides the full service, from the idea all the way to making sure you understand the upkeep of your item. He listens to your ideas and then uses his experience to modify it and make it possible. I sent him a picture of what I wanted and he was able to create it from scratch, which is amazing! I will definitely be going back for all my jewelry needs!

Paul and the rest of the team at Dapel are absolutely fantastic. While we have not yet purchased jewelry from them, I have had jewelry repaired here, and it is done with expert craftsmanship and care, and at a reasonable cost. When in the store, they have a beautiful selection of modern and antique(!) jewelry on display, and more beautiful estate pieces available to view upon request. They also have a nice selection of men's watches and jewelry as well. Jewelry stores are a dime a dozen these days and as such, it is of my opinion that antique jewelry is the way to go, as the craftsmanship and style are so beautiful and classic. When I am in the market for a new piece, I will ABSOLUTELY come to Dapel to make my selection.
