This place is great. To walk through the doors is to time travel to the 90s (don’t worry, they accept credit cards). Overall great selection of what you’ll need while you’re in the mountains. Good for all budgets, as they have a really cheap option for most items, as well as the name brand choice. They also have really delicious bakery and prepared foods section in the front cooler. The cheddar macaroni salad and peanut butter whoopie pies were 10/10.

A good grocery store. Isles are a little tight, but they carry a lot of products. I like going there for the locally made maple syrup products, the cinnamon maple syrup comes in a lovely bottle and makes a great gift. You can find Salt Bread here as well. Last time I was there, they had a big sale on meat. I saw a lot of people in the store for that. Plenty of parking.

I wasn't impressed but I guess for a SMALL grocery store, it was sufficient. Not a lot of name brand items, mostly store brands (although their loaded potato chips are the BOMB)! High prices. It is what it is.

We were passing through on our way to a cabin we rented for our anniversary. We realized we forgot a few things for thr dinner we were going to make and stopped here. It was as I remember a small-town store from the 80s as a kid. And I was greeted upon entering. Some areas are a tight fit, but it was clean and organized. Price increases have hit everywhere, but it felt like prices were kept as low as could be.
It just operated well with seemingly happy people. A woman ahead of us was having an issue with her payment method. It was resolved patiently which was nice to see. There was just this nostalgia about the place that made me happy we needed to stop.

I'm not from Galeton, but every time I visit my vacation cabin I do my grocery shopping here. They are so friendly and they have such a nice selection of everything you'd need. The deli is amazing.
