Bought a new 2022 Stainless Steel Black Dial Rolex Daytona for me and a Oyester Perpetual 41mm Blue Dial for my biz partner to celebrate our first 1M/month.

Erik was referred to me from a watch collector friend and I was blown away.

Bought from Italy, watches arrived the next day.

Absolutely 0 problems with customs, had to pay nothing and the box wasn't opened by anyone (and you'll know why when it gets to you ahaha).

Watches were of course Authentic, came with original box and papers.

My experience differs from most. I have little doubt in the voracity of the good reviews but when I purchase time pieces exceeding $10k per unit I expect more customer service than what I received.

I’ve been looking for a single source grey market dealer for some time and really liked what I’ve seen from LTG. My first attempted purchase was an IWC AMG Pilot model. Long story short, I was trying to get the piece by a certain time, and Claire went silent on me for a day or so. This in itself is not a big deal. Maybe she was busy. In the meantime I bought the watch from another dealer. This cost LTG about $11500 in revenue. Again, not the end of the world.

Where things get interesting is when Claire got back to me, I mentioned that I bought it elsewhere. In that txt exchange I wrote something like “you gotta communicate.” I said that because if I would have known what was going on I probably would have stuck with LTG. She responded something like “I don’t ‘gotta’ do anything.”

It was that one txt message that cost LTG an additional $60k or so in additional revenue. If you’re keeping track, they’ve lost a total of about $70k in revenue because of Claire. It was literally like she set thousands in profit for the owner on fire with a match. If I am the owner of a shop like this, whether or not I like this review is immaterial. The fact that it exists means that I have a problem that I can either choose to solve or choose to ignore and deflect.

Since that time I’ve purchased a Yacht Master 42 WG, a Breitling Pro, an Omega SMP Chronograph, a Glashutte Original SeaQ Pano, and more. In the near term I’ll purchase another Glashutte (Silver Screen chronograph), IWC Lake Tahoe, and I’m very interested in a Ressence Type 1 or Type 3 and a Rolex or two. All of these watches can be sourced from LTG.

As of the time of this review I’d still like a single source approach to my extensive watch purchasing but I’ll not be giving the business to a store fronted by petulant child who has no idea how to maintain a relationship with a luxury goods buyer.

Based on the other responses I’ve seen from the owner to bad reviews, I expect them to blame me for my need for timely communication. Maybe it’s news to LTG but people who spend $100k or more a year on watches probably have high expectations and not everyone can meet those expectations.

Claire and owner: I congratulate you on winning the high school snark competition. But I regret to inform you that you lost the ‘winning $100k in revenue’ competition. Which is more important?

My experience seemed so different from these other reviews that I had to share. I spoke to Claire and we had a good discussion about a timepiece I have been looking for. I live near the office located on the website in PA and asked if I could see the piece since I have never seen it on my wrist. She said she would discuss and get back to me. I reached back out via phone and email a half dozen times with no response. I checked spam and I used a second email address in case I was missing something but nothing.

This owner response is untrue and others should know that. It has nothing to do with the holiday. It was three weeks with no response not just Christmas day or the days on or around the holiday. My discussion with Claire was on December 6th. After seeing this response I called back today and spoke to Claire. I asked if I could see the watch and Claire then hung up on me.
