I am absolutely disgusted with this business. I have been waiting months for adjustments to be made to a wheel chair. No one ever called back when I'm told they will, right down to the supervisor. I found out that the new parts for the wheel chair were not ordered yet (after 6+ months) and they have not even got a quote for these parts yet. My little boy cannot walk. He relies on his wheelchair, which is unusable at this point. It's sick. He's about to not be able to go to school because he doesn't have a wheelchair. I do not understand how this business has an A rating on the BBB when everyone jokes about what a terrible company it is (therapists, doctors, special needs parents). I am frustrated to the point of tears because my little boy isn't getting the service here needs/deserves.

Update!
Waited nearly one year before someone finally came out to adjust and fix his chair. He needs a new chair now and we are going with a different company because of their terrible service.

Every flipping time I call, they tell me they have no record of my child! Ummmm, unfortunately we have been dealing with them thru 3 wheelchair purchases! I have needed replacement parts since August......it is pathetic that I have to make the 45 minute one way drive to pick up the parts myself because they don’t know when they can get a tech to me! Truly hope our Mobility company options grow when it is time for a new chair!!!

Susquehana Valley Mobility is listed as a local dealer on Convaid's website (and that's the product we want) so I decided to use them.
I contacted this company to help me get my young daughter a Convaid cruiser scout stroller..

My first impression was that the woman who answered the phone was very kind and knowledgeable. She took our information and explained the whole process to me. I did have a lot of questions about what was involved and I had some serious concerns over possibly waiting ten months or longer to get this stroller. She reassured me that it definitely wouldn't take anywhere near that amount of time.

Shortly after someone contacted me to set up an appointment for the evaluation and the evaul was completed by Ken in a decent amount of time too. Since our pediatrician had already faxed the prescriptions and the letter needed, I was told the order would be wrote up and submitted to the insurance company over the next couple days.

Unfortunately that was 6 weeks ago and nothing has been submitted to our insurance yet for approval. I know because I called our insurance today after not being able to get in touch with this company over the last two weeks....

The last time I spoke with someone I asked what was next and he said he had to schedule the evaul. I said the evaul with Ken was already done two weeks ago. He said he was waiting on a paper for the accessories from the pediatrician. I contacted our pediatrician who said she had already faxed the paper but would resend it.

I don't understand why nothing was submitted to our insurance yet or why I can't get in contact with anyone. I am extremely upset and disappointed. I'm concerned we won't have the stroller in a reasonable amount of time.

I'm honestly not really confident at the moment that we will ever see this stroller period let alone before we go away on Vacation. We were originally told that this process doesn't take too long... like after insurance is approved they order the stroller and it only takes a few weeks to come in... We can't seem to get that far. I also want to confirm the order is correct. I'd submit it all myself if I could but unfortunately that isn't how this works.

I will update this review as we go through this process... I truly do want to give a fair and honest review but right now I do have some concerns.

I truly would have went somewhere else if they didn't want our business however I recently learned they are the only local DME that accepts our insurance so we need to see this through to the end.

We decided to use a local company for convenience and to support a local business.

UPDATED TO ADD: This company went out of business with no notice. After wasting months we them we were forced to change companies and start over from the very beginning. I do not recommend this company or their second location. Run as fast as you can.

These guys have been nothing but helpful to me. Helped me get a new chair a while back and now they're helping me get some new replacement parts without and fuss.
