I love clothes mentor in my city and I love shopping clothes mentors website, however I recently bought an online item from Plymouth meeting and when I looked at the online photos, it did not show or describe a stain on the inside. For the price I paid, it would have been nice to know since I cannot see it in person and most items are final sale. I know that clothes mentor is a second hand store but this is the first time I experienced this since I have been shopping at any clothes mentor store online or in store. Overall I still love the bag, and it was packaged very good.

Since I have discovered Clothes mentor in Plymouth meeting, I have never stopped at another lady retail store nor do I should even think about chopping in one! You could not ask for a better staff! I am always graded with smiles and huge welcomes and lots of love! I come here for retail therapy and happiness!!!! I find brand new gift items and anything I could imagine for myself. I highly recommend.!!

I'm new to the neighborhood and was ONLY looking for a hair store. I pulled up into the plaza and found more than a hair store, I found a gem of sorts, Clothes Mentor. I saw a sign for women's clothing and I entered. There was a very beautiful person in a small package that greeted me with such passion. I didn't plan on spending any money but she, D-Marie, was so inviting,supportive and non-pressuring to buy ..that I felt comfortable enough to do so. Not only was this person amazing to say the least, every item in the store was the cherry on top for so many sizes. I'm glad I stumbled across this place and I will be back. PLEASE SUPPORT!!! 2 THUMBS UP!!!

I had a lovely time with Dee. She styled me just like a celebrity made me feel sisterhood and enjoyed my time with her. My experience was so emotional. She style me for Snow White movie that is coming out 3/21/25 my birthday also style me for Lilo and stitch birthday party theme 3/22/25.

I’m so disappointed - I recently dropped off some clothes for resale & when I came to pick up they were offering me $47 or $52 store credit for 17 high quality items - that’s $2.70 per item! I asked if I could just take the items back & they wouldn’t allow me to.

It was such a horrible feeling - all the clothes / shoes were French Connection, Anthropology, Top Shop, Abercrombie, Zara, Adidas, etc. I am so upset and feel like I got robbed.

I completely understand that this is a resale store & was not expecting to make a ton of money - I have resold with Green Street, PLATOS, and plenty of others - but this was by far the worst trade in pricing I have ever seen. PLUS the lack of flexibility / empathy to just give me the clothes back was really a turn off!

I was a frequent shopper here but unfortunately won’t be back.

Chris really out did her self with my resell! She told me exactly what they were looking for in my items and the reason why they passed on the other items. While i waited on my resale items to be gone theough i found some items to purchase myself. I was so amazed by the variety of style with me being plus size sometimes it can be hard to find things but this place was amazing. They have such a great variety of accessories too. I will definitely be returning to sell and buy again! This facility is immaculate, very well kept and organized by size for shopping!

"I had the best time at Clothes Mentor last Saturday! Deanna Butler helped me choose 4 fabulous designer bags and some stylish scarves to go with them and it didn't break the bank. Not only is she a fashion maven, but her sparkling personality made the whole experience so enjoyable! Highly recommend stopping by if you're looking for some new finds!"

Heads up to anyone with an out of state ID and you don’t have a PA license. I was turned away because I have my state issued Jersey license and I did not see anywhere on the website where it says I have to have a Pennsylvania license to sell at the store. So if you’re someone like me who has an out of state license and are new to the area in PA, just go to Plato’s Closet instead- they accept all IDs regardless if you’re out of state. Should’ve called ahead or something to spare me a 30 minute trip. I will say the ladies at the desk were nice and the store inside looks cool with different designer pieces… as someone trying to sell I’m upset, but I would definitely return to buy items.
