I went into this store thinking I was going to be getting a quality product but unfortunately that was not the case. I bought a ring from this shop a few months back that I wore every single day. To my surprise just today it fell onto the ground from my countertop and instantly BROKE!! I was heartbroken, I do not recommend this product I thought it would be durable but it broke wayyy too easily. 🙁

Looks to have a good selection but I was unable to browse the whole shop. I noticed a sign on the door that masks are required which is understandable but it also said visits are limited to 20 minutes and I was reminded after I came into the store. I try to be understanding but this one is hard for me. Limiting the number of customers makes more since to reduce covid risks than limiting the duration of the visits. That way everyone is safe and able to find what they want. I did find a few thing I liked.

Could stay there and stare all day at the beautiful creations they have in store? prices are for the most part reasonable, can find a super good deal from time to time✨ staff is incredible and so helpful to your needs!! Hard to find stores like this these days both equal in staff and products offered at a decent price range. Attests to the stores ability to stay open for as long as they have! Keep up the awesome job they do of at Stars of Alaska!!!

Hidden treasure found on East Tudor Road! My wife and son had never been in the store despite a combined 40 years in Alaska. We came by in June, 2024, and our eyes POPPED at the variety and color of so many cool samples all organized with Suzanne and her lovely staff's friendly, encyclopedic knowledge of inventory and mineral consistency. After browsing for a half-hour, she gave us a NICE military discount. We'll definitely be back to Stars of Alaska!

Phenomenal service and people. With amazing items some you would expect to be there and others you would not. Stars of Alaska is a genuine gem! The Rock Shop is my favorite shop in Alaska by far. Here are pictures of a very small collection of items bought at this fantastic shop.

Coolest rock shop ive ever been in! Great people too! Im from out of town and they helped me ship some beautiful pieces i found in the store back home no hassle, and the shipping was way cheaper thwn i could have arranged myself! Will stop in next time I'm in town for sure!

This rock shop is absolutely beautiful. Massive variety of gemstones and minerals. I believe it's a must stop place if you appreciate the beauty of gems! And the prices are very reasonable!!
