I love shopping at Eli’s

They have affordably priced high quality items ranging from beginner level to professional level. I shop at Eli’s for acrylic mostly but I’ve also bought paint pens, trinkets for myself, as well as fun gifts for others.

Highly recommend stopping in even if only for a browse! You can pay in cash to get an extra discount!

Honestly this place is my favorite little shop in State College. It is a quirky little art store with supplies, greeting cards, clothing, posters, candles, mugs, frames, etc. I could explore this place for hours!! It’s kind of like a museum! You can find all of your artsy odds and ends here and the employees are so nice and accommodating as well. I definitely would recommend coming here! You will not be disappointed. 😃

I was just admiring the print I purchased and had framed at Uncle Eli's in 1978...it's an Asian print of partridges. I used to pass by the store on my way to class and it for weeks it was there in the window display. It was 40.00! I couldn't really afford it but bought it anyways. It's still one of my favorite things.
I still have all the colored pencils I bought there too.

Just a quick word of appreciation for Isabella. She is warm and attentive, and helped me find the right kind of notebooks for paint markers (for a fraction of the price of moleskines). She has several creative interests and knows about many different materials! I look forward to my next visit 🙂

prices are high, stock of art supplies is low, service is haphazard. They haven't been answering their phone for the last two days to answer a simple question about the availability of a framer.

Amazing selection of art supplies and gifts. Staff is always helpful and even suggests less expensive products for students on a budget.

I could spend goes exploring the art supplies, the gifts, the cards and the posters.

The frame shop always does excellent work. I've gone here a few times to get some work framed and it's always high quality work.
