Perfection! The place is small, with only 5 indoors tables, and it’s very busy, but the service is fast, efficient and most important- lovely! We had the BLT bagel, and the lox bagel. Loved the lox, bursting with cream cheese (jalapeño cheddar!), slices of fresh lox, capers and purple onion. This is a must!

Dry shady … very … don’t use real cream cheese … owner mixed my freshly squeezed oj for $6 buck behind the counter and rudely pushed me to pay because he had better things to do! Yeah right some poker player guy who he was chatting up?!!!! Useless terrible people horrible low grade cream cheese lousy atmosphere… probably I. Cahoots with money laundering Russian “ market’. STAY AWAY!!!!!!

My sister referred me to this bagel heaven in State College! I'm so happy experienced it for myself! The teamwork they have is impeccable, bagels are nice and fresh (made daily), and the atmosphere is calming and welcoming. Thank you so much, I look forward to eating here again! This place is beyond perfect for breakfast! Such a small cozy space for a nice cup of coffee and bagel! I tried chipotle lunch item for breakfast, and absolutely loved it in a rainy morning. Great customer friendly service, easy parking, and good price. Very satisfied.

I understand why it takes so long - it's a small place and there's only so many employees that can fit. Ordered a breakfast sandwich and they waited until I went to pick it up to tell me they were out of the bagel I wanted, so they hadn't even started on it. This despite having my phone number! I didn't want to wait AGAIN, so I took the offered refund. Thing is in this situation, for goodwill if not to make the sale, I would've offered a rush job on a sandwich with any other bagel!

tl, dr: Food's good. Wait is borderline excruciating, but understandable. Service SERIOUSLY needs help.

I really wanted to love this. Their name pulled me in and the friendly service was so warm and welcoming. I ordered a build your own bagel sandwich on Asiago; the egg sandwich came out barely lukewarm, the avocado wasn’t ripe and tasted gross, and the bagel was not toasted (like they didn’t toast it at all, not that it wasn’t toasted enough) and was very very very stale. It was so hard I ripped one bite off as best I could and chewed until my jaw hurt. I love bagels, I know they’re a tougher bread by nature, but unfortunately I actually couldn’t bite or chew it at all, I’m 39, no dentures. It was so hard and just not it. Sorry to the person who helped me, you were great but yeah, the food was awful, I threw it away after one bite, sorry 🙁

Probably best to go earlier in the day. I went around 11:30 and they were out of/low on some things. But the people are friendly, the bagels are good, and the service was quick. The garlic & herb cream cheese is phenomenal.

AMAZING BAGELS AND SANDWICHES! Definitely a hidden gem around here!! I love the atmosphere this little cafe has. The family that owns and runs it is incredibly humble and super sweet!! I would ABSOLUTELY recommend stopping by (especially if you’re looking for a good and warm bagel in the area)!
