This Valentine’s Day Weekend we made memories in the Poconos… and I tell ya’ walking into Grandpa Joe’s Candy Shop in Stroudsburg felt like stepping into a candy lover’s dream!

From floor to ceiling, the store is packed with an incredible selection of nostalgic treats, modern favorites, delicious chocolates, fudges, and the most unique sodas you can imagine.

Megan was absolutely delightful—super friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about all things sweet. She made our visit even more enjoyable with her great recommendations!

The soda wall was a major highlight for me. With so many rare and retro flavors to choose from, I couldn’t resist grabbing a mixed six-pack of unique sodas to take home. Whether you’re hunting for a childhood favorite or looking to try something new, this place has it all.

If you’re in Stroudsburg, do yourself a favor and stop by Grandpa Joe’s—you won’t be disappointed!

Wall to Wall candy spread through 3 rooms! There are cases of handmade candy upfront with a large selection of chocolates. There are sections for gummies, sour candy, chocolate and name brands as well as specialty sodas. There is one room with two rows of candy bins where, for $5, you can fill a small box with whatever loose candy you desire. Throughout the store, you can find gifts and books and other small toys and memorabilia. We definitely didn't leave empty handed!

This place was amazing. We went there twice during our stay in Stoudsburg and the employees were so friendly and helpful when I was asking questions about candy. They have so much candy from Japan, the UK, Germany, etc., old school candy, and then entire walls of every flavor soda imaginable. Such a fun place, and all of the prices were very affordable.

This place is amazing! We were in town to see a show a the Sherman Theater and had some time to kill. Let me tell you, I could have easily spent 2 hours in here! Every type of candy, old to new is right in one place! The cashier was helpful and friendly! Will absolutely be returning the next time we're in town!

Grandpa Joe's is a paradise for kids, offering a wide variety of candies at reasonable prices. With numerous options, it becomes challenging to control your child once inside. The $5 candy buffet was a perfect addition to the tour, enabling you to fill an entire box. Undoubtedly, it's one of the finest candy shops in North PA. The only downside is limited street-side parking. I highly recommend visiting this shop if you're in town.

EVERYTHING you can imagine and then some! From a 3lb Gummy Worm to Japanese unique Specialty candies!! Old school & new new. Very clean, & The Staff was Beyond amazing and helpful to our daughter on her bday. The $5 candy buffet was perfect to top of the tour. This is hands down one of the BEST CANDY shops in North PA. Easy to park, a beautiful walk up to store front and plenty of room inside. It goes all the way back! Bulk items available in the back room if you're loading up for a party. This is a MUST stop for all bday girls. Her little brother made out like a bandit so of course he loved her bday surprise.

Interesting store, with nostalgic candy and unique soda choices. The sodas I would try just for the sake of novelty, as they are very high priced. Some of the novelty candies, with repulsive names and graphics, actually dampened my appetite for buying anything.
