Amazing customer service!

I needed a Unity Candle ASAP. Keith answered my call and said he could text me pictures of them. In no time the pictures came so I immediately forwarded them to my daughter.

I sent the picture the candle my daughter liked and said I’d pick it up later or the next morning. Keith responded immediately to my text.

I was able to there sooner than I expected and Keith had the candle set at the front desk waiting for me. We had a pleasant conversation while he very carefully boxed the set up.

I repeat, AMAZING customer service! Thank you Keith.

Not for us.

It feels cold, old, and stuffy. The person at the register was no help. She spent more time talking to my husband about random things than she did trying to earn a sale.

We wanted to buy something that represented our time in the Pocono's but I didn't feel comfortable touching anything.

I hope others have a more enjoyable experience.

So this is a cute building. I'm a huge candle fan/enthusiast. I also support small businesses. I would never want to actively discourage anyone from supporting a family ran shop, because it's hard out here these days making a living. However, I also extremely care about animals and wasn't exactly given the correct information regarding being interested in their candles, and I wouldn't want anyone else to go home with these candles who might have concerns about burning them around their pets.

The candles aren't labeled what they are made out of. I asked and was told they are made of paraffin wax. If it doesn't irritate you, there's nothing wrong with having those kinds of candles if you personally enjoy them. However, paraffin wax can be irritating to some animals.

The worker informed me that isn't true, when it is. He said it's the scents that can be irritating to some animals/people. He's not wrong! It's both the wax and the scents/oils, so please be careful if you have concerns about burning candles when you have pets and are told paraffin wax is safe for them.

Please research about oils and artificial perfumes on what is best for cats/dogs/birds ect.

The candles there DID smell really nice. I ADORED a lot of them I smelled and would have dropped a lot of cash there if they were made from anything other than paraffin.

Just wanted to leave this review though in case you ask if the candles are safe to burn around pets and you get told "yes" by them.

Not only do they have candles, but upstairs they have beautiful winter holiday decorations. The downstairs is all homemade candles as well as night lights of all shapes and sizes the owner makes.

Candles smell great. Haven’t been here in 20 years but used to come here a lot when I was a kid. Reading through the reviews and saw people complaining that inventory is outdated. They aren’t wrong but to me it was actually pretty cool to see some of the same things I saw as a kid. It was like going back in time.

A store with incredible space but seems to be abandoned. The candles are not flavored and smell like paraffin. The place could offer craft classes and making candles for tourists but the store stopped in time. And the space is amazing and in a great commercial place and with parking. But the store has nothing new or attractive.
