Large variety of items, beautifully displayed home decor and themed sections. Candles are fantastic and not overly scented, which I appreciate.
I had an awkward experience with cashier in the candle section, but I believe she was new and overwhelmed.
Overall, it was a nice place to shop and experience!

This place is HUGE! We did the candy barrels, which is always fun. There was a great selection. I thought it fairly priced, with plenty of scales to keep an eye on yourself.
I was pleasantly surprised by all the other gifts and crafts available.
There is an EXCELLENT craft brew selection. Lots of local stuff. It's not crazy marked up either.
I bought a bag of fresh peanuts, and they're some of the best I've ever had.
I will absolutely be visiting again.

Nice place with nice things, but prices are a bit high for me. Geared more towards tourists than locals. Huge selection of candies in barrels that you bag yourself, candles, collectibles, home decor, and more. Worth a walk through if you're in the area. Plenty of parking.

This was an excellent stop on our road trip through Pennsylvania. We wanted an alternative to gas stations and rest stops – The Shoppes at American Candle was everything we’d hoped for and more! We enjoyed looking at the collectibles, art, and home goods as we stretched our legs, and the candy section was eye popping for the whole family – kids and adults alike! We had a ton of fun browsing the barrels of bulk candy and the price was fair – everyone got to fill a bag! They have an amazing selection of specialty candy, neat things like flavored pretzels, and a super cool section of candies organized by color. Everything was shockingly fresh – the softest gummies and most delicious chocolate! The staff was friendly and helpful, the facilities are clean, and we had a fantastic time here!

Always love American Candle. Anytime we're in the Poconos, we make sure to stop here to load up on candy. We also love their other shops, especially the jewelry section. They have a great wine & beer section as well. It's an eclectic shop with something for everyone!

A store that literally has something for everyone. It is not just candy and candles. Maybe you are just trying to get your 10,000 steps in, and are looking for an interesting place to walk (the store is very long). They have a lot of Holiday type stuff and a cool Halloween section. We moved away from the area long ago, but always stop in when we visit. Definitely worth your time.

We used to come to this place often back in the 80s and 90s, and we’ve watched this place grow. Although many things have changed, it still has its original charm, and, of course, lots of candles, decorations, and snacks to choose from. Worth a stop.
