Had driven all day from North Platte Nebraska, and was met by exceptional front desk personnel I believe she owned the hotel or was a higher up. She help me through the process and when I came back to the front area she helped me hook up the WiFi on my phone! Even though they were working through some renovation to the front area staff was friendly and accommodating! 20 out of 10 stars!

It was a nice place to spend one night. Check-in was quick and easy with the new trainee. Asked for a top floor room and it was happily provided. It was quiet and we got a good nights sleep. The breakfast wasn't anything to brag about but we never expect too much.

The Hotel was clean and without any strange, strong odors which is telling for it being a little older. I appreciated the helpfulness of the staff, the ability to bring my pets and the restaurant attached that made it easy to get dinner when we were too tired to go out. the beds aren't the most comfortable but definitely not the worst either. I only wish they offered hot water for brewing your own coffee or tea as I'm not really a fan of hotel options for those.

I had a reservation here for one night, while I'm moving across country. I arrived just after check in, around 3pm. The lobby and front area were under construction. Everything was covered up in front. I didn't get the breakfast, so I'm not sure where they put it. The noise was intense! I asked when it would be over. The woman in charge at the front desk said 4pm. I asked her about an easy access room because I'm a disabled vet. Nothing was open right by the doors, but she gave me an upgrade for the trouble. She also got me help with the luggage cart so I didn't have to lift and carry so much so far. I truly appreciated her kindness and sympathy. The room was very comfortable with lots of nice extras. The shower was fantastic!
The only thing I didn't like was the restaurant. I was very tired from the long drive and ordered room service. I have dietary limitations. The only thing I could eat was a cauliflower crust pizza with no cheese. I got 3 toppings. It was very small, said 11" but didn't look that big. It was way over priced! Over $21 for that tiny pizza. It was only ok. The applewood chicken was crumbles, which made it very dried out. When I called in the order, they didn't ask how I wanted to pay. I assumed they'd charge it to the room and leave it at the door. Instead, I get a very loud knock, while I'm in the shower. I figured they'd just leave it then. No, instead a minute later they knocked again and loudly said room service. So I had to jump out of the shower and open the door a crack, in a towel. Then they asked how I wanted to pay, cash or room charge. Very frustrating, very disappointed.

Great hotel option for Rock Springs. Convenient to I-80. Plenty of restaurants nearby. I believe this is the only hotel offering an airport shuttle from the Rock Springs/Sweetwater County Airport (served twice a day by United Express from Denver). Call the hotel early in the day when you need the shuttle. It will run for all flights (including taking you to the 5am departure). Friendly staff both on the phone and at the front desk.
IHG Platinum status acknowledged at check-in. Rooms seem very recently renovated with very nice clean furnishings/linens. Plenty of places to charge devices including a whole power bar above the baggage shelf/hooks. Walk-in shower bathroom which is appreciated. Comfortable and smelled clean.

This was one of the best hotels I've stayed in during the past decade. With 24 hour access to the indoor pool, spa, and gym and ease of just walking through the hotel straight into the restaurant made this hotel stand out by a long shot. The room was quiet, private, and very clean and comfortable. Now onto the restaurant. This was a great casual restaurant with a lot of tv's and very popular with the locals as well. Great ambience, great menu, great food, and great drinks. All the staff between the hotel as well as the restaurant were friendly and seemed to always have a smile. I would choose this hotel again and again. I can't wait to go back!

My husband and I stayed overnight just passing through. We got in late but the front desk attendant was very nice. We were able to check in quickly, get parked and up to our room. The room was clean, bed was comfortable and the shower had great water pressure. I would stay here again. No continental breakfast but they have, I think, a $5 voucher for Old Chicago to go and get breakfast at. The restaurant is attached to the hotel for easy access. We did not use the voucher as we just got up early and on the road. Overall, a good, but quick, experience.

As a diamond elite member who does around 150 nights a year in ihg properities here’s my experience with my stay at Rock Springs WY Holiday Inn.
I was in rm 214. Checked in and left to get dinner. Got back around 8pm. Sit in bed and was completely swallowed up like a taco. This mattress has to be from when the dinosaurs roamed this area of Wyoming. Completely used and worn out beyond comfort.
Just as I was getting eaten by the mattress the heat kcked on. It sounded like a Boeing 737 starting its jets and roaring down the runway for lift off.
Do not stay at this location there’s a Holiday Inn express in town. It’s probably owned by the same individuals or group and I would assume it’s more than likely the same as this location. the Holiday Inn Express in Rawlins isn’t much better but that’s for another review. Basically just skip any IHG properties of 180 from Cheyenne to the Utah or Idaho borders.
