I really enjoyed visiting here at several different times. I came just after sunrise and watched the steam on. The hot water. I tried to find buffalo but had no luck. I hiked the THill across the street and it was an awesome hike. I highly recommend it.

We visited the public bath house and it was great. There is a no-frills community lockerroom. You can visit these waters for free every 2 hrs for 20 min soaks.

The fountain is also really cool to see.

Very cool place to stop and visit before riding through Ten Sleep.

The park is huge, with tons of places to play or have a picnic.

We really liked the swinging bridge and the hit springs in their natural environment.

During our road trip, we stopped overnight in Thermopolis on our drive toward Jackson Hole. We stayed at the Best Western Plus, which is located inside the park. To our surprise, the jacuzzi at the hotel uses the hot springs water from the park. Delightful. We drove through the park in the early evening, walked the boardwalk and on the swinging bridge, and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Locals also enjoyed the park—some were bathing in the waters by the travertines. Sometimes the beauty of state parks surpasses that of national parks, without the crowds. And, the admission is free.

The pools are wonderful. The staff is friendly and helpful. Restrooms are clean. We did a little hiking. The Spirit Trail was nice. I love the bridge.

The free Hot Springs Bath house was a great way to indulge in the healthy springs. The mineral deposits were beautiful. Go to the Wyoming Dinosaur Museum also

This is a nice park. Small with a decent amount of attractions. You can make this a day trip. Not a lot of people either. We did the spirit and monument trail. Spirit trail will basically take you to see everything. The swinging bridge is sketchy lol. Monument trail is a bit challenging. Nice views when you get to the top and an old grave with a box full of people logging their adventure. It was nice seeing all of the springs and the history behind them. I'm glad they're still here and bubbling. Lots of pretty picture opportunities. We will be back to actually use the pools and what not. We also came close to the bison while out on the trail. We didn't approach them but they were all chilling across from the trail by the cemetery. I got to see them wallow. There's babies too. So cute.

This place is a dump. No one is there. Went in the tourist area to ask some questions about the pools. The guy working was a total jerk. Said something about our Texas tags and pickup parking. There were literally three vehicles in the parking lot and room for 50 more. We left immediately. Seems like they would want people to come there to stay open. We won’t be back. Pools looked gross anyway.

Cool place. Wish I had gone swimming in a hot spring but didn't have time. Very nice park besides to explore with a river, swinging bridge and some trails. Worth walking down to the white Sulphur spring.
