The look, the feel, the events, the service- it’s all so beautifully curated and offered up with a balance of sophistication and small town. It’s a perfect stop for picking up gifts, offers an amazing selection that makes it feel much larger than the adorable small space it is, and the events for both children and adults keep us coming back and wanting more. Best selection of books in all categories!
The moment you walk in the shop you feel as if you found your happy place to hang out and browse on the comfy chairs and/or sofa. The staff are very knowledgable and friendly. They have great authors discussing and signing their book. I love how community focused they are as well. An absolute gem in the Valley!

One of my very favorite places! Olivia & Daisy is a perfectly curated shop and I love the warmth and care the owner Kelsey puts into all the details. Great for new book recommendations and having your older favorites! A must visit on the Monterey Peninsula!

Olivia & Daisy bookshop is a terrific store that brightens our village.
O&D brings a bookclub, a glorious children's section and ever changing new publications to the community. Also a very good selection of older and favorite books along with ones that I discover and want to read line the shelves. Kelsey is very knowledgeable and has directed me to things that have been just what I wanted. The clever and aesthetic design of the shop is a delight. So grateful to have Olive & Daisy in Carmel Valley Village.

I love this store. The owner and staff are very knowledgeable and helpful. The atmosphere is especially great with sitting areas for adults and children.. their book selections are great and up to date. Do stop by when you can .
