I had an absolutely wonderful experience at Nelly's! Don't let the busy location in south San Francisco deter you , it is a wonderful, down to earth, family ran bridal shop that is worth going to.
I was thankful that owner Nelly was able to fit me in on short notice, and I appreciated her flexibility. While parking can be a bit of a challenge with only residential parking, it's not impossible. I recommend allowing some extra time to find a spot so you can arrive on time for your appointment.
Once inside, the shop feels warm and welcoming, with a cozy family atmosphere and an impressive selection of dresses. Nelly herself is a delight - warm, personable, and knowledgeable. I went in with a vague idea of what I wanted with little experience in dresses generally speaking. Nelly's expert guidance helped me find the perfect dress. It wasn't what I initially thought I would go for, but it's truly stunning!
You can tell this is her passion and will go above and beyond for her soon-to-be brides which made this once in a lifetime experience amazing . I loved every moment of my visit to Nelly's and highly recommend it to anyone searching for their dream dress.

Nelly's Bridal Boutique was my third wedding dress boutique stop and where I found my dress! Nelly's Boutique had a huge selection of wedding dress designers and price points. I told Nelly the style I was looking for and during the 1-hour appointment I must have tried on 10+ wedding dresses, all recommended by her based on her understanding of what I wanted. During the process, she constantly asks for feedback on my thoughts on the dress I just tried on, so she could refine on what she would suggest next. Unless you are size ~6-10, the sample dress will rarely be in your size no matter which bridal boutique you go to. I'm very petite so all sample wedding dresses I tried on were huge on me. Nelly use clamps to make sure we still get a sense of what the front and back of the wedding dress should look like on me. I could not be happier with what I ended up with!

This was my first stop when wedding dress shopping, and it was such a positive experience! I was easily able to book an appointment via e-mail.

Ivonne helped me and was so attentive and kind! She really made the experience wonderful. She was very calm and encouraging. I'm realizing now how lucky I was to have come here first, after hearing how pushy other bridal shops can be. Ivonne gave me tons of insights into what options I would have with different designers and gave me the info for the dresses I tried on that day so that I would have them for reference.

I really think this place is an underrated gem on the Peninsula and encourage brides-to-be to check it out.

I said "yes to the dress" at Nelly's!

I came to Nelly's upon a referral from a friend of mine and I am happy to say that my experience here was also wonderful. Nelly herself was the one who assisted me in finding my dress. She was super patient, lively, and honest!! She is very experienced and knows her inventory well and tried to stay within my budget. Nelly gave me her full attention and honestly made the whole process go very smoothly. I was afraid that it would be hard to find sample sizes that fit my body type, but I felt very comfortable during my appointment.

Side note, I know it might be trivial for some, but I knew it would be a good sign when I saw that there was a fan in the dressing room! LOL It gets super hot when you are changing in and out of wedding dresses!
