Why doesn’t the road maintenance people get out and clean up all the trash. Piles everywhere and you never see any Jefferson County road crews working anywhere. Forestdale on the West side of Heflin looks like a third world country. Trash piles on Bluebell Rd that are growing all the time .

The county doesn't maintain Interstate hwys, the state does, previous comment reflects poor understanding of hwy maint. and the safety requirements of roads being maintained. Many hwy workers are killed by the inattentive drivers in construction zones. Slow down! The life you save may be your own or someone you know!
