Fantastic selection of clothes and gear. It can be hard to find nice gear for women but they have some of those harder to find things like Dovetail workwear and a nice selection of base layers for women too.

I had 3 bad encounters with Meg. Last week I went to return a $150 jacket, was greeted in unpleasant manner and rudely encouraged to just buy another item. Was hesitated to even help me and seemed that I was a bother. Black jacket had specs of hair and employer Meg became more upset. Issue was resolved, but was clear she did not want to deal and did not want to resolve the issue. My family and I have been shopping here for years, however I will no longer be shopping here until issue is resolved, or crew switch.

I purchased a pair of Timberland PRO Boondocks November 6th 21 by October of 22 the sole was coming unstitched from the upper. I returned to Sweeney's and showed them to Mr Mike Sweeney who without hesitation replaced them. They were just shy of a year old.
Fast forward to recent present, the bottom layer of the several part sole started to come apart causing a potential safety issue. I contacted Timberland Pro in regards to both issues. However before they could make a determination on the boots, due to the safety issue these boots had to be retired after 8 months.
I returned to Sweeney's to purchase a new pair. Mr Sweeney happened to be there, I showed them to him. I really didn't expect him to warranty them. Again this SMALL BUSINESS OWNER stepped up to the plate and replaced them, only asked me to pay the difference in cost of $50.
I gladly did.
Timberland PRO finally made their decision, being Sweeney's is not an authorized dealer they will not stand behind their warranty.
They recommend to purchase from an authorized dealer. Closest is in Anchorage area 6+hrs round trip drive, not feasible for a pair of boots or you can order online either way when you need new boots either is impractical.
Time to wrap this up, Timberland PRO is Big Business Sweeney's clothing is local small business, he stepped up to the plate to make sure that his customer was taken care of, Timberland PRO on the other hand.....you get the point.
Needless to say this is the last pair of Timberland Pro boots I will purchase and put on my feet.

Well stocked store with various types of outdoor clothing and gear. What stood out to me was their down to earth helpful attitude, nice people, genuine place to come shop for quality. Excellent selection of hats and gloves. Thanks Sweeney's for having what I needed!

I love this store, they have tough gear for doing tough work. The store stole my heart when an Xtra Tuf bootstrap broke on me about a month after I bought it and they let me trade it out for a non-strap Xtra Tuf. These people are great and their selection is great too, I never go anywhere else for clothes.
