Some of the best coffee I’ve had the pleasure of trying. I spent a decade wearing a “Green Apron” most of that time as a Coffee Master. Learning more about coffee than most people. After getting my hands on Filthy Pirate Coffee I don’t think I’ll ever go back to whole bean purchases from my old norm. The low acidity and bold flavors made an immediate impact on my daily espresso. The Tanzania Dark Roast was a perfect pairing to the dark chocolate mochas I drink before work. I look forward to trying more of Filthy Pirate’s offerings in the near future.

My first impressions of Filthy Pirate Coffee were phenomenal! Walked in with no expectations or knowledge of their coffee before hand. It's not really a barista coffee shop where one would get a specialty cup of coffee and sit down and relax - this is a retail store that sells all of their coffee, tea, merch, etc. He was SUPER friendly and walked me through all of their different offerings. He also gave us a small cup of coffee from the back - a welcome treat while trying to make a decision on so many yummy looking coffees! The coffee was great, and the service was even better. Anytime I'm in Tucson, this will be a stop!

This is my favorite coffee roaster in town! They are the best! Their coffee is smooth, non acidic, and flavorful! They also offer a variety of tea, honey, and swag. If you want a GOOD cup of coffee, and not your average "cup O'Joe", get your beans here! Worth every penny. They also support their local First Responders and Veterans, which is a HUGE plus for me. 10/10 would recommend!

The gentleman who helped me made my day! He was very knowledgeable and excited about what he was selling to the community. Filthy Pirate offers apparel, mugs, tumblers, seasonings with funny names, pre made cold brew, k cup options, local honey, and so much more. I’m so excited to level up my coffee experience and Sunday breakfast with the family! Shop local guys! You won’t regret it. I’ll never buy coffee anywhere else. So far the cold brew is amazing without cream or sugar!

Filthy Pirate Coffee Sangrenel Light Roast

Pot Brewed .V. Espresso Maker Brewed

Pot: Notes of earthy citrus that is gentle and light with a hint caramel aftertaste. perfect with a morning breakfast bagel. A very flavorful cup of coffee that I personally loved with a little splash of half and half.

Espresso: Bolder more punchy notes of citrus with a mellow aftertaste. Would make a very nice caramel latte.

I normally drink my coffee as espresso however with the Sangrenel Light Roast I preferred it brewed with the pot coffee maker. The flavors were easy to detect and a delight to the palette. I can imagine enjoying a cup with a friend over breakfast. Pot coffee maker won this round and it gets 5 stars!

Dan & Cathy have brought low acidic coffee to NW Tucson and beyond. You can shop the 20 plus flavor or styles of bagged coffee. Also tea products. And plenty of swag (t-shirts & hats) to support this local coffee roasters to your friends & family. You can also go online and have their fresh product mailed directly to your home. Whole bean or grind...give them a try. You won't regret it! I guarantee it!
