The manager K.J. and staff Sarah went above and beyond to make my experience the best ever. There was an issue that was undiscovered prior to the rental. There was a strong overpowering smell of gasoline in the truck that was very nauseating and made me ill. I was already halfway to my destination by the time the manager contacted me and he had offered to exchange the truck. I wasn’t in the middle of the dessert at that point and no place to exchange one. I was also on a very tight timeline to get the truck loaded and back to Cottonwood & get it unloaded.

The manager & staff made it right and I will definitely recommend and use them again. Thank you K.J. and Sarah!

If I could give zero or minus stars, I certainly would. So we reserved a 26’ U-Haul in mid December for January 4. On January 2, I get a phone call stating they will not have it and the closest one is nearly 50 miles away. No attempts to accommodate by the staff. When asked to have this escalated, we simply get told no manager is available. Then we get told there is never a guarantee. Based upon U-Haul website, there is no guarantee when booked within 24 hours. Then we get told the person who was to drop off the U-Haul had a delay. When asking for any compensation for inconvenience, simply ignored. We ended up paying for a U-Haul at a Phoenix location which was $83 more for miles we did not need, and then the additional fees for gas to drive an extra 90 miles that we didn’t need. This was by far the most disappointing experience ever. I have met 5 year olds that can run a lemonade stand with better business integrity than U-Haul Moving & Storage of Verde Valley. Moving is already stressful enough, not to mention having to modify plans and pay more money. I urge you to go with another local competitor as the customer service here is non-existent. The customer service rep supposedly escalated to her manager who was out of the office for the week and we have heard nothing at all. Not surprising by any means. Small town mentality with a most relaxed approach to any inconvenience to their staff or situation. Thank you for making a stressful time of moving even more complicated. You get 10/10 for causing additional cost, time, travel, etc. Kudos to you for being the worst!

Truck was clean and ready.
Victoria took great care of me and getting me on the road.
Returned truck same day. Claudia greeted me and did the check on truck and smiled and said we were good.
Excellent Uhaul experience. I've had some bad ones.

Amazing! Casey Dennison the manager exemplifies superb customer service. Beginning with our first inquiry regarding uboxes, Casey explained the Ubox process, reviewed uhaul moving products and usage, recommended helpful tips with the items we needed and made our rsvp. Our rsvp was a bit detailed and out of the ordinary. It required further approval from Uhaul transportation. She made the calls and followed up to be sure that we were taken care of, even on her day off!

If we owned a business, we would be well represented by her as she is the type of employee who would attract repeat customers and referrals. We were so pleased with our transaction and how we were honored as customers. We recommend this Uhaul because of Casey.
