The team at Verde Painting did an excellent job repainting our home’s exterior. They were attentive to detail, extremely courteous, and very efficient. This team is reliable and very pleasant to work with. I could not be more pleased with their work and the price we paid for their excellent service. I feel very confident that our exterior is in prime condition to withstand the effects of the desert climate. Thanks for a job well done!

This is the second time I've used Verde Valley Handyman and both times I've been very satisfied. The handymen arrived on time, were easy to work with and did a good job in a reasonable time. First job was hanging some bamboo shades, the second was assembly an exercise bicycle.

A recent storm with high winds knocked out the power across the back of our house. The circuit breaker couldn’t reset it. Handyman Bobby tested the circuit breaker box, all the outlets & switches inside, but still no power. He found the problem on the outside of the house, and behold, there was light again. Bobby has been our Handyman since 2022. He is very skilled, conscientious, meticulous and thorough in his work. He is currently working down our years-old to-do list. I highly recommend Verde Valley Handyman Bobby, as does my 10-lb, 19 year-old miniature herder, who supervised Bobby’s work. So together, we give Bobby 10 Stars.

We had Verde Valley do a couple projects at our house, both were poor quality, but the exterior paint was especially disastrous. The painters did little to no prep work (scraping, covering, pressure washing, etc.) prior to painting. They painted the ground, the rocks, our flower beds, hose bibs, etc.. midway through the project they randomly told us they were no longer going to paint our back deck. When we asked them to be more conscientious and considerate of our property, we got a bunch of attitude and aggression from both the painters and their manager Dave. When we brought up our issues to the owner, Matthew, we got the same angry/aggressive response as if we were in the wrong for speaking up.

I don’t know too many companies that stay in business by bullying and gaslighting their customers, but these guys are certainly trying…

I've used them twice and Bobby is great guy. I've put the poor guy though the wringer installing electrical outlets and a ceiling fan that he had to build a box for, because there was not a overhead light in the living room. He'd probably got done quicker if I'd stop talking to him, but like I said he's a nice guy !!

We hired them for some minor electrical work around our old vacation home in Sedona (about two hours worth...simple outlet stuff). Since we don't live there all the time, we let them in remotely. While the work was done well, when we arrived a week later, we found the refrigerator off. The person who did the electrical work in the kitchen, didn't turn the fridge's breaker back on! All the food in the fridge was spoiled and everything in the freezer was melted. Thankfully, we didn't keep much in there but restocking it cost us $200 and ruined our first night as we had to clean up the melted mess and do a large grocery run.

What we paid for the work plus the food costs and headache just wasn't worth it. Unfortunately, we won't be using them again.

Flipper

I needed a new hot water heater and repair done to the flooring. Neighbors advised me to find someone online and have that person pick one up from HD.

I wanted a real, reputable contractor who stood behind the product they selected and installed. Verde Valley Handyman was the only local to fit that description.

They came out, provided an estimate and stated that the owner thought that the hot water heaters from Hughes Plumbing Supply in Cottonwood were better than anything from HD.

November 1, Bobby installed the new hot water heater and did a great job with the flooring repair. Couldn't wait for the first shower! Only to have not hot water. Okay, wait until the next day giving it plenty of time to heat. Still minimal hot water. VVH sent several technicians, finally determining the fault to be the heater itself. This was where my concern for having one responsible party paid off!

VVH replaced the defective heater with a different brand, at no additional cost to me. It was an fantastic experience from start to finish. Thank you!

My father called to have a job priced, the person who answered said they didn't know if they could do it, and would get back to him in a day or two. Never heard from again. It's been well over a week. I recommended you to him and this hasn't been a good start.

I know exactly what business I called. And I won't be calling back or recommending your company ever again. Gaslighting a customer during a complaint is absolute insanity and definitely not a business I want to be involved with nor have in my home.
