I visit 3rd Place Coffee four times a week, and each visit feels like coming home. The owner, John is an absolute joy to see daily; his warmth and dedication to the craft are evident in every interaction. He and his team consistently introduce new items to the menu, ensuring that regulars like me always have something exciting to look forward to.
The lattes here are exceptional--crafted with precision on their Rancilio machine, which is a rare find these days. The latte art is consistently on point, especially when served in a mug, adding an extra touch of elegance to my morning routine.
What sets this place apart is its unique ambiance. There's an exotic plant shop within the coffee joint, creating a lush, green environment that makes every visit refreshing and serene. It's more than just a coffee shop; it's a community hub where quality meets comfort.

A charming coffee shop with farmstyle design. Plenty of seating and a kind staff adds to the value of these place. A great place to hangout and read. I ordered the Pooh’s Latte with a nice hint of honey and cinnamon.

Dulce de leche latte was amazing. Vegan , vegetarian burrito and chicken burrito was good. Service was great. This cafe is just near the Red rock canyon trail parking lot area. Looks like busy a bit but yeah orders are prepared pretty quick. And people move out quickly.

Went on a saturday afternoon (close to shut down timing), staff were cordial and polite. Took a vanilla coffee. Had options on the vegetarian sandwich (both cold and hot), along with tea options.
In house seating was great and has also option of outdoor seating. Clean toilet (exotic wall painting, great choice though).
We swung by this place before we started on the red rocky canyon trail. Good place

Was with my 3 year old during the morning rush grabbing a greak breakfast burrito and a large cold brew. As 3 year olds do she knocked over my drink making a massive mess in the middle of the breakfast line.

The owner cleaned it up silently and I sheepishly carried on with breakfast. Halfway through the burrito a fresh cold brew appeared just as silently.

This place is just ok but it does have potential. Does carry intelligensia coffee beans with a good selection but the beans are not fresh so the flavors are not there anymore too be worth getting a pourover. The food is just ok. The portions is a bit small but the price is reasonable. The bacon is very low quality. The space is nice. So yeah, it has potential but currently it's just an ok place for a once off coffee or breakfast before a hike. If they can elevate a few things, I can see myself coming back.
