I love trading places international . I’m at Virginia Beach right now. The Largest beach in America. It’s an ocean front. It’s beautiful. I have NO COMPLAINTS BECAUSE OF THE PANDEMIC, we are still blessed. I’m about to deposit 6 weeks with Trading Places. They need my support like I need theirs!!! I was at Ocean City Maryland last month. The property was under remodeling however, that did not stop the beach fun. Great food. Close by Amenities.
In Virginia Beach, it’s the Ocean Sands Resort.
Tonight I’ll get the Christmas Light parade.

3 years ago I rated TRADING PLACES PRIME, 5 stars and gave a glowing review of my membership, since 1999.
But this last year, the quality of the service has gotten SO BAD, THAT I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND them again !!!
I put my request on the WAIT LIST, for any TIME and DATE, BUT I got NO NOTIFICATIONS. That means ALL YEAR LONG for 3 locations that I have ALWAYS been able to get !!! And they made all kinds of EXCUSES. With the ECONOMY NOT being financially favorable for people to AFFORD to a VACATION, it is NOT that more people are taking all those PLENTIFUL, TIMESHARES that were AVAILABLE in every year, prior that I made my requests.
I requested many times to speak to a SUPERVISOR, BUT they stonewalled. After a number of requests for a SUPERVISOR, I finally threatened to take my HIGHLY in demand, 2BR 2BA SUMMER UNIT on PCH in DANA POINT, across the street from the beach, with a PEDESTRIAN BRIDGE, directly in front.
I finally got to speak to a SUPERVISOR and told her of my loyalty 25 years and the open ended dates(anytime), at 3 of my favorite locations that I never had a problem getting.
After about a week, they gave me a choice of a place by the San Clemente Pier, but it was only a 1 BR and the REQUIRED resort fees(which I NEVER choose)of over $200/week. NOT MY FAVORITE CHOICE.
NOW I have another BONUS WEEK, BUT again NO AVAILABILITY, of the places that were ALWAYS AVAILABLE.

SO DON'T BANK YOUR WEEK with TRADING PLACES and don't pay for prime membership. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME, TRYING to get a trade through TRADING PLACES, chose another exchange company.

Let me REPEAT THAT. ABSOLUTELY DO NOT utilize TRANDING PLACES, YOU WILL BE WASTING YOUR TIME, MONEY and your timeshare usage !!!

UPDATE 1/29/25: NOW ANOTHER ANNOYING PROBLEM. I CAN'T USE MY BONUS WEEK, because the BONUS WEEK EXCHANGE PART OF the WEBSITE HAS SAID, OPPS an ERROR has OCCURRED NOW, for OVER a WEEK.
I CAN CHECK ON regular exchanges(meaning NOT BONUS WEEKS), but it seems COINCIDENTAL that this just started HAPPENING AFTER I GAVE a TRUTHFUL NEGATIVE REVIEW, AFTER GIVING 5 STARS for MANY, MANY YEARS.

THIS MEANS I will LOSE this WEEK, if they don't get this ANOTHER ANNOYANCE and piss poor service FIXED.

REMEMBER, if they get this fixed and I get my BONUS WEEK EXCHANGE, I WILL UODATE THIS REVIEW.

BUT MEAN TIME, DON'T PAY FOR PRIME and NEVER USE TRADING PLACES.

THEY JUST PUT OUT NEW INFO SAYING basically NEW and IMPROVED.
B.S., DON'T BELIEVE IT, IT'S GETTING WORSE.

AND DON'T FORGET THAT THEY GOT AN "F" on the BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU !!!

I’ve been a member for 24 yrs.

Trading Places Prime membership is worth every penny.

They have some of the lowest fees and they are the ONLY one that I know of that will give you TWO WEEKS for your one.

I have stayed in some of the best locations and that’s why I come back to renew every year!!!!

The cheap getaways are great and you get discounts off their already low weekly prices.

Wanted to go to Branson, MO in July 2022 nothing has come up. I've been looking for 6 months and nothing. Then we wanted to go to Las Vegas in August and there is nothing. Not a good place to deposit your weeks if you have specific times and cities want to go. I looked on Diamond Resorts and they had things in July 2022 but I had already moved my week to Trading Places. It didn't used to be so difficult to get things in Vegas or Branson not sure what the problem is but I would not recommend Trading places to deposit your week. It's too difficult to book

Everytime I would call, I would have a long wait (25-35 min) to make a maintenance payment. I spoke with Tae on Mon June 24, 2019 to make a complaint and he refused to give me the name of the supervisor on duty. After several requests, he told me that he would have a supervisor contact me. As a loyal customer, I should of been given this information when I requested it. I found him to be rude and unprofessional.
I hope Michael spoke with him about this simple request that could of been resolved without having to waste my time requesting to speak with a supervisor about a service that is unacceptable to its customers.
