This was my first purchase at Givenchy. I purchased a new white purse on 5/17/2023. It was late and I did not check the purse as they boxed it in the back. I thought they were giving me a new purse however it had blemishes. I returned it on 5/20/2023 letting them know the purse wasn’t what I expected. Givenchy would not give me a refund, so I chose a different purse, more expensive of course I paid the difference. Again, I didn’t check the purse and they must have given me a floor sample. The gentleman mentioned it’s a final sale because the purse I returned had blemishes. I wished he would have said that before they charged by card. I’m so upset the second purse had scratches on the leather. Never again am I buying Givenchy brand. Or, if ever do, I will buy at Bloomingdale’s or Nordsrom.

I bought pants here. It was my first purchase at Givenchy but it most-certainly won't be my last. The quality is second-to-none and unlike some of its competitor stores literally feet away, I feel the craftsmanship of the item (and not just the brand) justify the price.

Huge shout out to Tyler J at the store. He was infinitely patient and provided exemplary service. I was bringing the pants back for minor alterations. I mixed up my appointment time (entirely my fault) and showed up early. Rather than send me off, Tyler invited me in to relax, poured champagne, and made me feel most-welcome while waiting for the tailor.

This is how you make a loyal customer. I'll be back!

SAs are not as attentive as other retail stores at SCP but I was eventually helped. Despite a positive experience with my SA I did find scratches on the purse I picked up after I got home because the purse was wrapped up after I paid. The store did try their best to allocate a new one for me within the week. Double check your purchase before it's wrapped up.

Sales Associate was cordial on pointing some of their items, however it was hard to connect with them. I have been purchased my high end brand at the South Coast Plaza for a few years and the sales Associates (Valentino, LV, Prada, Chanel, Cartier etc) they already know my name, contact me once they've special events, they make me feel as a guest, I don't need to be dress up to impress. It was my first time trying to get to know this brand better (Givency) and first think I felt entering to the was reject not welcome, this is what determine if my money worth to spend there at this particular store. I still like what I see from this brand and I would be buying the purse I want. I would give another chance and hope they really are more welcoming and not judgmental by appearance.

Store is kind of nice, people there are always attentive ready to help the manger helped me out and got what I was looking for, but the return policy is bad no refunds, only exchange, store credit or gift card. They sometimes go on sale if you buy something on sale the sale is final not even exchange or store credit can be had, I buy online at least that I can get a refund.

June 28 2020 I purchase some shoes at south coast plaza I went in the store looking for some sandals , the sales person ( Judy) showed me around the store I decided to try on some sneakers , I decided to purchase the sneakers she also show my boyfriend some shoes I payed for my shoes and sandals she did not once mention store exchange only ! I went back that following Thursday July 2 2020 to return the shoe because I decide I didn't wanted the sneakers, I was told u can't return them you can get store credit or exchange them I mentioned that the sales person never told me that , then I decide to call customer service because on line is a different policy from what I saw. Friday July 3 I spoke to customer service over the phone and store manager Patrick he told me he was going to speak to the sales person and returned my called , I decided to wait never received a called on July 10 I decide to give the store a call back since 7 days had passed and I did not receive a call or email or anything . So then I called customer service I was transfer to south coast plaza then I spoke to Patrick he apologize for the delay and said he was going to accept my shoes but that he had to wait for money to come in the store since they didn't have the amount of cash in the store since I payed cash! I told him that it was okay that I would be waiting for the call , July 10, 11 ,12 and 13th passed by and no call so I called the store I was told they where going to contact Patrick and give me a call back, never received anything , all I'm asking at this point is for some explanation's I understand they don't have the money but busy weekend the store can't come up with 600$ I work for a signet jewelers and I know how retail works this is unacceptable I will no longer make any type of business with this comapny it was my first time purchasing from this store and my last time!

Nice store and staff, only downside no returns, only store credit and exchange, I would buy things online at least I can return and get my money back.
