Re Last week, I found myself lost in an unfamiliar area after my phone died. The first place I came across was a shop called Forest & Meadow, and stepping inside turned out to be an unexpectedly wonderful experience. The women working there created such a warm, friendly, and inviting atmosphere — it felt almost like home. One of them took the time to explain the benefits of various herbal remedies, which I found really fascinating. I ended up purchasing some rose petals and a few other spices to enhance my tea.
I would definitely recommend this place.

What went well? Everything went well. I feel hope and a sense of calm after my treatment by Amanda. The office is clean and welcoming. I can’t speak highly enough about the treatment. I am currently 34 weeks pregnant with my first baby who is currently in a breach position which is not ideal for the natural home birth we are aiming for. While this treatment is not proven to remedy a breach baby, it’s a step in the right direction making space and alleviating surrounding tensions. Amanda took her time walking me through the first treatment explaining each step in a digestible way. I felt cared for. My next appointment can’t come soon enough.

What an absolute GEM for the St. Louis community. The level of care, expertise, and knowledge is simply unmatched in this region. I have tried many herbal things over the years… and Forest & Meadow products truly work when others have not. Period tincture & salve are amazing. My first experience with the Forest and Meadow product line was from a local gift shop that was selling the products. I was surprised to notice a difference in such a short period of time after using the tincture. I checked out the store shortly after.

I have had two of the abdominal massages and also a couple consultations. I really cant express how much the abdominal massage helped me. I love the tinctures and have noticed positive differences in my mood, energy, sleep, and overall health.

The shop is located in a super cute area of town. Walkable to other shops and several cafe's. There are more exciting things happening on the street. Its just awesome seeing this historic area come back to life.

The shop has a great herbal book selection, essential oils, children's options, organic clays, and all with reasonable prices.

Amanda genuinely strives to help everyone who walks through her doors.

The shop is very clean, hepa filters running throughout, masks required, and clients limited. Its overall just a very nice and comfortable experience.

This is the kind of shop that makes me feel so lucky to live in St. Louis. The selection of herbs is amazing and really reasonably priced. The staff are so kind and knowledgable and really take the time to help you figure out what you need and troubleshoot. Their Glorious Pregnancy tea is so yummy but during my pregnancy, my body decided that spearmint would start giving me heartburn, so Amanda quickly mixed up a new custom mix without it and even added some other tweaks to support me further. Plus the shop isn't just herbs, it's a beautiful array of local goodies. I love browsing and always leave with something nice. So glad to have this local business close by.
