Always great food! Gas is competitive with most others, they offer Propane which is nice! But what keeps me coming back and choosing them over the competition is the staff! Always so friendly and attentive! They almost become family over time! Make getting gas a little less painfull....a little....

So pleasantly surprised!

We’re camping in Pinecrest for a week with five kids.

We ran out of drinking water so decided to price check their water down the hill (much cheaper than up here)

We were also pleasantly surprised that they had a hot deli, as we’re tired of cooking 😂. The food was great. It was perfect hot deli, deep fried deliciousness.

They said it would take 15 minutes to cook so my husband came and sat in the car with me and the kids. The man even brought your food out to us (though I wouldn’t say this is typical as it’s not the busy season) but it was incredibly nice of him!

Tempted to go back just so we don’t have to make lunch tomorrow too ..

I've kept my burger snob attitude because unless there's something special about it, to me it's just another regular burger. On our way to Pinecrest CA, we stopped by the Outpost, a gas station mini Mart with a small restaurant serving appetizers, breakfast, and lunch menu items. We were looking for a quick bite en route to our final destination. What seemingly a step above fast food joint, located at a gas station mini Mart, we weren't expecting food that will blow us away. I ordered the Outpost burger. It came with a perfectly cooked fresh patty, with white cheddar, grilled onions and chopped chiles. I also added onion rings on the side. My wife ordered the Tri-Tip sandwich with fries that was neither wedge, chip or string. Her sandwich came with an au-jus dipping sauce too. Both our sandwiches were cradled with homemade, baked on site bread rolls that was perfectly toasted. Needless to say, our meal was very good. We both believe it was the bread that made our sandwiches extra special tasting. Service was fast and friendly. Judging from the constant stream of customers and the repeated ring of the register, their business is hopping patronized by locals and travelers. The Outpost earned my highest praise. I highly recommend this stop over spot. We will certainly visit again next time we are heading towards Pinecrest through Soulsbyville.

I like most of their food but, I ordered Biscuits and Gravy and caught them microwaving the gravy in a Styrofoam bowl. Styrofoam.
I was told that this is routine for them. I will never, EVER, eat their Biscuits & Gravy again.

Fast service and good atmosphere. Soup came out cold, but our server glady took it back to heat it up again. Chicken sandwich had really wilted lettuce on it. Avocado was also pretty old as it was much more brown than green. I’d avoid anything with lettuce or avocado on it. Other than that, seemed like a good restaurant

What a nice find! Really good food, not a long wait. They have 4 small tables for 2 people and 2 tables for 4 people. Highly recommend!
