Just a quick stop for drinks while heading to Forrest hill OHV. Store was clean, folks were nice, and the location of the road was easy!

This is a road trip worthy stop if only for the drop dead views of the middle fork of the American River.

There are picnic benches for a beautiful vista on the side of the Wortons Market a go to for catching a quick snack and stretching the legs!

We are lucky to have this well stocked grocery store in Foresthill,full liquor & craft beer selection,deli,burgers,fried chicken.
Today I had a grilled pastrami & Swiss on rye bread that was delicious.
They have a full store generator & stay open when the power is out.
Propane tank refills & benches in the parking lot to enjoy your lunch with an outstanding view of the canyon and Sierras in the background.
Prices are a little higher, but you don't have to travel to Auburn.

Nice place, especially location. Most staff are nice aside from a few. The food there that they make isn't that good though, pizza doesn't even taste like pizza should.

Small-town shopping at its finest! Very friendly staff. For it being a smaller store, the prices are fair and the deli has a good selection of hot and cold foods. I recommend the Western Burger, it's delicious!
You can't beat the view from the store's parking lot. I suggest getting your meal and sitting outside on one of the picnic tables to enjoy the scenery.

After a scenic motorcycle ride, our group of 11 stopped at Whorton's Market for lunch and breathtaking views. The food consistently impresses, and this visit was no exception. With everyone ordering something different, we got a good sense of their diverse menu. My salami sandwich was outstanding, easily one of the best I've had. Several others raved about their burgers, calling them the best they'd ever eaten. The menu also includes hot dogs, prepared hot food, and pizza. For those in a hurry, pre-packaged options are available.

Despite our large group and other customers, the friendly staff efficiently handled our orders, getting our food to us much faster than a traditional sit-down restaurant could have. We enjoyed our meals at the outdoor picnic tables, taking in the stunning, panoramic views from high above the treetops.

Whorton's Market is a must-visit in the area. Bring your appetite and your camera—you'll need both!

Worton’s Market is an absolute treasure in Foresthill! They offer a fantastic selection of fresh produce, and quality meats. The staff is always welcoming and helpful, and you can tell they really care about the community. Whether I’m picking up essentials or looking for propane, Worton’s has it all without having to drive down the hill. I appreciate how clean and well-organized the store is, too. So grateful to have this wonderful market right in town!

It was a cute little grocery store with a little bit of everything including a deli with great selection, even burgers! Check out their spice aisle, they've got so many to choose from! Even a small garden section out front. Nice seating area picnic tables outside to enjoy lunch and the view. 🙂

Good selection. Prices vary greatly from reasonable to outrageous on certain items.
