Why are items locked up? Absolutely stupid. Have to ask for a $2 dollar item.
Like A child. I will make the drive to Home Depot where nothing is locked up.

This is NOT a review on the employees. This is a review on the new ownership. Eight years in Frazier Park and I’ve never seen only two employees on a Saturday afternoon. Right when it’s warming up and it’s go time on home projects. The two were Completely overwhelmed and unable to help.
How can the only hardware store serving a mountain with at least 5000 customers not do better?

I was there on 1 Dec 23, looking for a stove thermostat. Waited at Customer Service while a male and female each sat at a desk, doing nothing, ignored me. Waited 10 minutes. Nothing. Walked to the cashier, who threw a fit, and directed me to the "back wall." Nothing found. Went to another cashier who sent me to aisle 11.
After thinking about the poor service, I decided to drive to Home Depot or Lowe's in Bakersfield rather than throw my money away where my business is obviously not wanted.
BTW, I'm remodeling two of my rentals. I'll drive 45 miles each way before driving 10 minutes to this business.

Customer service has been on the poor side from my own experience, I tried to be plesant, they were indifferent to my questions and repeat business.
