So I felt a little bougie and since I was near the Grove, decided to stop by cause I was curious. You thought Trader Joe’s had a small parking lot and was crowded? Wait till you come here.Maybe cause it was a Sunday? The drink that I saw on instagram was delicious, but $20? Prob not worth it in my opinion. The hot deli and prepared foods were tasty and fresh, but yeah again pricey pricey… I would come back because I did find some items that I really liked.

This is considered an upscale health food store. So if you think whole foods is expensive, then you're in for a surprise.
People seem to enjoy shopping here and you could get very good healthy options.

Lots of meat selections, vitamins and other health food brands you'll recognize.

Oftentimes they have end cap samples going so you can try things out.

I would say that for fair food is a little overpriced for the flavor.

This location is like stepping into a health-conscious utopia—where everything looks so good, you question if it’s even real

Just like any other Erewhon, stand outs are the buffalo cauli (crispy, spicy, and addictive) and selection of ‘healthy-ish’ desserts

While some indoor seating, it fills up fast. So best bet is to post up outside Blue Bottle in the veranda

Erewhon: Where my wallet felt much lighter after this visit.

So, I finally checked out this place called Erewhon, where influencers and celebrities swear by the all-natural (or mostly natural) drinks and food. I mean, if it's good enough for them, it should be good enough for me, right? Well… let's just say my wallet and I had a little disagreement after this one afterwards.

I grabbed a couple of regular-sized drinks: a smoothie and an Earl Grey iced tea, thinking, "How pricey could it be?" Spoiler alert: $20 each. Yep, twenty bucks each for a regular size drink. The drinks that should come with a golden straw and a side of applause. Some of their smoothies and teas even go for as much as $80! I mean, really…Erewhon?

So, what does a $20 smoothie or Earl Grey iced tea taste like? Turns out, just like the 5 bucks smoothie or a $1.79 Earl Grey iced tea from any other place. Sorry, Erewhon, but my taste buds didn't notice the "all-natural" difference—just my wallet did.

I get it (or at least I’m trying to), they say they use only natural ingredients in their drinks, but my goodness, there's no taste difference to justify the steep (pun intended) prices. You only live once, so sure, why not try it? But be prepared for some serious sticker shock.

You know what’s funny, paying for over priced natural items, when they are prepared and shipped in unnatural ways! Listen folks, I’m just saying….and stating the obvious.

The bottled water was reasonably priced, and some of the grocery items were okay too, but the bar? Nope, the bar prices were out of this world, and I’m not talking about the flavor. I guess unless I start making movie star wages, my Erewhon days are behind me.

This is a premium grocery experience where image and quality intersect. All products here are neatly and uniformly arranged for display and the quality of the products appear as picture perfect as expected. There is quite a variety of your typical grocery shopping needs as well as select products such as drinks, snacks, and produce that appear exclusive. The walkways are a bit narrow and some of the shelving is stacked too high for some people to see; it's a little disconcerting to have to look up frequently to scan the products placed high up what seems above 7 feet on the shelves. Location has moderate traffic on the evening. Parking is available from nearby public garage structures.

Purchased a travel tote and off I went. Jersey to Culver. Beautiful flowers great you at the door. The produce section is tad bit breathtaking. Well organized, stocked, and things I’ve never seen. Lots of options in the cooked food section. Smoothie bar was crowded.

Not impressed. 20% of the groceries in the milk, meat, frozen isle can be found in Sprouts for the same price, maybe 1$ or 2$ more.
The sushi was literally the same price as it is @ Whole Foods or Sprouts. Didn’t have enough time as they were closing to go into the isles & find anything outrageously priced.
It was 4 minutes to 9 when I realized there were less than 10 people in the store so I asked the cashier if they close @
9 or 10. She told me 9. I was shocked. Whole Foods & Sprouts close @ 10. Other grocery stores close @ 11,12.
So this store is not doing that good? Another clear sign that they are struggling & that the whole pretentious business model of catering to the Uber rich & not to regular mortals is that this guy probably a manager made it a point to interrupt my conversation with the cashier at 9 PM sharp & tell me they were closed now & I must leave. So desperate to get all the employees of the clock & out. Didn’t even think of saying was there anything you would like to purchase since we are closing. No we closed your time is up. GO! Hilarious. I was literally contemplating of grabbing one of those 13$ sushi boxes that looked descent for a grocery store. I think the employees are drinking the pretentious cool aid of them being an elitist expensive store & he figured out that the lady holding an umbrella & a cvs bag. Laughing in disbelieve at their 135$ grocery bags couldn’t afford their 13$ grocery sushi. You keep on treating people this way. You will miss out on ALOT of business. Customers are always ‘ impressed’ with employees that gate keep & act like they are not good enough to shop there. I was about to go back & try some things when I am not full from Cava & Straw & Salt next door, now not so much. Poor service irks me.

A unique store full of organic food and local produce.

Their ready-to-eat food options are also amazing with a wide variety of foods for people with different dietary needs.
From salads and sandwiches to soups - many fantastic options

The prices are slightly higher than in a regular store but the quality and selection is superb.

I particularly loved their periodic table. What a lovely way to connect science with nutrition.
