Located within a shopping plaza, this is a medium sized supermarket inside with all your typical Korean grocery needs. There’s also a vast selection of Korean side dishes at reasonable prices, many options to look at to take home. It’s very clean and organized in here with neat displays. Staff are quick at checkout, lines were not long.

I love H Mart! It has all the Asian goodies. I get the fruit here (cheap!). They also have the viral mango ice cream. Good desserts like mochi. My kids love noodles (Buldak!) and they also have Yakult and Ramune. This particular one is a lot smaller than the one in OC. I wish they had more hot items and a food court. It’s inside a mall, so there’s plenty of other options. I have to say it’s a little janky inside. I hate the parking situation- it’s inside a run down structure (although they do validate). My ultimate pet peeve is there is no service inside. Customer service is not the greatest but that’s what I typically expect and not out of the ordinary.

I go to LA every Sunday and out of all the Korean markets we still go to the market in the K-Town Plaza not because it's H-Mart but because of the old OG Plaza Market that it used to be. Their meat & fish always look fresh and very tempting. A good selection of various cuts is always excellent. However, their customer service department needs a lot of reeducation. I've felt this not just at this location but at their other locations as well. This particular day, the cashier in lane 2, a very young, not yet 21 yrs old Hispanic, was very rude. I noticed several times how nonchalant she was, and today was no different. Hiding behind a mask, she hardly speaks. She does nothing but slide one item after another over the scanner. I couldn't get to my grocery bags that were still on the counter, behind the plastic barrier, with no space to maneuver my cart around. She waisted no time to say thank you, assist or wait. She just looked at me with her usual blank eyes and started to scan the next customer's items. She didn't even ask if I needed the parking validation. It was another cashier in the lane 5 that yelled out to me to give her my ticket for validation. In this time of severe competition in LA, this market is the worst in customer service. Another time, I was buying makguli, but she just stood there looking at me with no explanation. She was just looking around. I was so puzzled. Then another Hispanic employee came and scanned the makguli and said that she wasn't 21, so she couldn't scan the alcoholic beverages. Well, why could she just say so in the beginning instead of letting the customer stand there like an idiot. I actually got in her lane one more time with makguli after that. She was the same but I then knew the situation so I let it by. But today's episode made me decide to leave a review.

Going to the market was wonderful! If I had more time, I wouldve stayed longer. The prices weren't too bad, some things are normally expensive but, generally, prices were reasonable. Then going to the food court afterwards, reminded me so much of Korea's E-Mart ^_^

Parking is a nightmare and you pay even if you spend $100 in groceries. I had to stand in line for 7 minutes waiting for cars to exit and was charged $5 for 5 minutes! No attendants on duty. Take your business elsewhere and not a money hungry venture

We purchased mostly packed foods for my teen to sample. H Mart LA K-Town is a shelves full market with multiple options for many products. Very friendly shopping experience that will bring us back again next time. Parking is free in the under building parking garage. Stair and elevator access to each floor.

This is one of the old Korean markets in Koreatown. Just a decade ago, it used to be the most bustling mall, but now it seems that the number of customers has decreased, possibly due to the presence of many other Korean markets in the vicinity. As someone living in Las Vegas where there are no large Korean markets, I still cherish this mall. Especially, the food at the food court brings back nostalgic memories and tastes fantastic.
