Proof Artisan Bread, where carbs are a religion and I am a devout follower. That Pain Au Chocolat though, it's the holy grail of pastries. And, don't even get me started on their cheddar jalapeno sourdough, it's the epitome of perfection. Oh, and their vanilla latte? Heaven in a cup. While they do sell some coffee options are limited. Do not come with expectations this is a coffee shop in any way. The MVP is the bread here. If you come hungry they have a great lunch option of their sourdough pizza, a drink and a chocolate cookie…which by the way is amazing! I do recommend taking it to go as there is very limited seating. Service was great, vibrant chill, but parking can be a bit rough depending on time of day.

Proof bread is one of the best places to
Visit to start your day right! They have some amazing croissants, flaky, buttery and very delicious. Their chocolate croissant has a nice chocolate in it, not crumps of chocolate that you can't find. The orange juice tasted freshly squeezed.
The last thing I tried was their ham and cheese croissant... So filling with copious amount of ham and copious amount of cheese.
I think it's a family own business and they were so kind and friendly. Definitely a 5 star experience.

Hands down the best croissants I’ve had in my life! We travel to France a ton and tbh these are a treat, and the sourdough flavor is unreal addicting. My son’s favorite food is a croissant and although he’s only two he said that these were his favorite when we came to try them for the first time! I can’t wait to come back for more treats! I’m so happy we found you!

I LOVE this bakery! When I am in town I always stock up on their amazing long fermented sourdough bread - never sliced since I know that means I got the freshest possible - I take loaves home to Washington with me to freeze it is so good. Their pastries are amazing as well - but go early as they often sell out of cookies (tho got one still cooling the other day and was thrilled!). I like that they carry farm fresh eggs and a few other high quality products.

This is one of my favorite bakeries! The bread tastes delicious and I love that the food isn't full of preservatives and has fresh ingredients. My daughters and I met Hope, who is THE sweetest person and her staff was awesome too! We sampled the birthday cake and I loved that it was baked from scratch. The quiche and coffee cake were perfect! I can't wait to go back.

This is a gem right outside of old Litchfield Park for any type of bread or croissant. Their Americanos are yummy as you gaze at all the treats and settle on the somewhat healthy ham & cheese croissants. Fresh milled grains are also for sale. The cleanliness and early morning organization was impressive.

So I found Hope's amazing breads back at farmers market where her smile and kind spirit just let you know her bread had to be amazing. You physically could feel the love and then the taste just brought that love home with you. The first time I met Hope I truly felt I made a friend and each loaf I purchased I felt like it was from my family's kitchen just for me. In the worst of times, COVID, she wanted to help people so her and her family set up delivery so everyone was safe and still had breads. Then her sharing the spot in Litchfield to start and finding very quickly she needed the whole space because her following became a huge family. Her amazing breads, bread dipper spice, desserts, pies, oh her bruschetta. Yet I have to tell you it was always her smile and warm hug. Over the past year or year and half you could sense something. A change, you could feel the love had escaped the walls of the amazing place Hope built with her smile and love. I can't imagine how hard this has been for her nor would I ever act like I know. What I hope for Hope is good health again, happiness and to know how very loved she is by many.
With that I went today to see Proof who is taking over. I won't say that I was thinking I would find my new bread place again to be honest. I will always have a soft spot for farmers market Hope's. Yet Hope for the first time ever asked her family of customers to give it a try. I walked in and felt love again. Maybe helped a little that Hope was there smiling and being so kind with her time, BUT Jon was there as well. I sampled some of his breads, I talked to him and he was so kind with his time even though running like crazy (and as tired as he looked), you felt his love. For the breads, the customers, the conversation and letting customers know he was there to take care of them. I felt like I found my bread home once again! The bread and croissants are amazing and you feel AND taste the love once again.
Now I can only hope him as much success and hope that maybe just one day we will see specials from Hope still.... Just saying it couldn't get much better than that. Cooking classes, anything! We love you Hope and welcome to the West Valley Proof. So excited once again.
