One star is a generous rating...
I purchased a pack of BBQ pork today (label claims it's good until 9/12) and opened it to cook. It smelled fishy and spoiled. Like any normal human, I double bagged the putrid meat and threw it away outside. When I called to ask what needed to be done for a refund, customer service claimed I have to bring the receipt and rotten meat back for a refund. The meat is beyond rancid. There's no way I'm putting it in my car or back in my refrigerator to return tomorrow. I have my receipt from less than an hour ago. That should be enough. It's sad that a business is so ridiculous over a $4.44 pack of meat. In addition, I've seen whole hams there before with the original Smithfield labels peeled off and new stickers placed over the residue. I suspect they're trying to change expiration dates on that, too. Everything else in the store is overpriced and frequently out of date. Save your time and money and shop elsewhere.

Went there to buy groceries. First two items on my list were fresh okra and tomatoes. No okra, tomatoes were pitiful looking. Had to drive to Cullman to get what I needed. Won't be back.

I absolutely love this store! Great selection of produce and meats. And I just love their unquie selection of children's toys! The employees and manager were very friendly and helpful. We live in Good Hope but will definitely be stopping by everytime we are out that way.

Very affordable awesome prices an great choices of meats cheeses an the eggs are the cheapest around an I really love the cheap drink machines outside never seem prices that cheap on can drinks. Love the service everyone smiling when their checking you out all around it's a good grocery store.

Best looking meat department I have seen in a long time. Store as clean as a pin, Great prices, And a butcher on premises. I will be driving from Morgan City (right past Arab) to do my shopping from now on. Thank you Hopper Family Market

Great locally owned grocery. Friendly staff .
Excellent meats...good produce. Always clean . Pharmacy ,Postal services ,Bill pay kiosk. Dont buy all my groceries here but at least once a week for meats and staples. Always a butcher in meat dept. If you need something cut to order. Good sales and customer service. You wont be dissapointed.
