The date shake here is excellent, only lacking in bigger chunks of dates. It was so good I couldn't put it down. Nice little spot and very welcoming staff. If you like dates, this is your place. There's also wine, candy, apparel, a variety of hot sauces, and other treats. It's really enjoyable. We'll be back, and I highly recommend this spot .

Such an awesome store. The date shakes are the best? They have super fresh dates and nuts grown right here in AZ, and they ship custom gift boxes for all your out of state loved ones. Also, get a bag of the horchata coffee to take home. It's amazing!

We lucked into going during the date harvest. The woman who helped us was so friendly and knowledgeable. She allowed us to sample several types of dates (think wine tasting but with dates). They were by far the best dates I ever tried. Sphinx is definitely worth the trip if you are in the area…especially during date season.

Amazing dates, and the place is so beautiful. If you go outside to can see a nice little wake way that takes you through a little pond area and you can see palm trees grown all around. We came from Arizona to get some bahree dates however they didn’t have only 3 pounds. We also ordered the date shack which is amazing, must try… all times of date products

What a great place - I was reading about the ASU date farm for heirloom dates and saw you could buy some of them at Sphinx. Anyway, luckily we were close enough to the harvest season to score some of the ASU varieties as well as the pictured Sphinx date.

Staff was super friendly and very knowledgeable- products are excellent and although I didn’t get a date shake (we were just about to go to lunch) I’ve heard they’re delicious…

Very knowledgeable staff. We tasted different dates that helped us to make the decision on what to buy. We even visited the grove with Black Sphinx date palms near there.
