I've been shopping here for over 10 years, and have always had a great experience. Randy and his daughter Erin are terrific. The female staff is very knowledgeable and helpful, some of the male staff lack in the customer service area, but they are working on it. Prices are solid and they will match any of the local shops including Turners. I highly recommend taking a look at their selection when looking for a gun.

First time to this store, and it was awesome. Patrick was quick to help us, and he is extremely helpful with finding us the best deal on ammo. The selection of firearms at this store is truly awesome. Patrick's knowledge on firearms is impressive. After my first visit, I've become a customer for life. My only recommendation to future customers, is to bring more money than you originally planned. Besides firearms and ammo, this location has all the other goodies you would need for the range, home, bug-out bags and the firearm accessories.

My 1st time in the store was in early 2008, when I entered I had to stop and take it in. The place is sorta old school. For a old guy like me that's a good thing. There are guns n ammo shops around, The Shootist has a vibe unlike most others. It's obviously a mom n pop shop, just like they use to be. They have been in business for quite awhile and it shows.

Pretty much anything you could want, or need is there, I have purchased everything from used firearms to new, cleaning supplies, gun cases, shotgun choke tubes, and the list goes on. It is definitely worth the time and cruse around inside to see what they have and if your like me just enjoy the store.

They can at times be pretty busy, my opinion that's a good thing. If you have been there for awhile and no one else has came in makes ya wonder. The staff there are all knowledgeable and will help you with anything that you may want. They have spent time answering questions I had with out me feeling rushed. I'm sorry I can't remember names but I belive I've been helped by every last one of them.

They also have gunsmith's on hand to do repairs and upgrades. They worked on my S&W model 29 wheel gun and did some repairs to the timing and trigger for me. Reasonable pricing on that work as well. That was quite a few years ago and the thing still works like it was done yesterday.

They are my go to store for anything I need and much prefer supporting small local businesses. I do recommend The Shootist to anyone that may read this, give them a look see and I think you will agree. Thank you Shootist for 15 years of experience, I will be back as needed.

I went in for 9mm and left with much more. Patrick was very nice and helpful. The Shootest is well stocked and clean.
