This is a nice cost-plus grocery store that is centrally located in Jonesboro. The cost-plus means they add 10% to the final tab of your sale at checkout. This is something I am not a fan of as I would just have my total be my total. They have decent prices although you may find better ones at larger retail chains in town. They can beat those retailers pretty often during their weekly sales, which come out every Wednesday. They have good meats and produce and often has stock of items that other places did not, especially during the pandemic when many things were in short supply. They have also added self-checkout lanes to make getting in and out of the store quicker. It's central location can make it a lot more difficult to get out of the parking lot during peak hours but overall not a bad store.

Nothing like entering a store in a cloud of cigarette smoke from the groups of employees by the front entrance.

This used to be a nice grocery store. Now it’s just like the Cash Saver that was shut down in Valley View.

It isn't Hays anymore. It was bought out by FoodSmart but still convenient and fair pricing. I do miss Hays though because, though I rarely took them up on it, they always offered to carry out my groceries and help me load them into the car. I don't usually need it but handy when in a hurry and a quick shopping trip turns into a full on grocery run.
