I've shopped here for years, and I know I shouldn't let a few bad situations ruin my entire experience but this last one has.

Sandwiche I order was made incorrect, which I should have know cause it had an incorrect label. When I got to the register, I tried to explain that the label was wrong but the cashier decided to argue with me and repeat herself in an extremely condescending tone. She was treating me like I was lying or stupid, and was totally gaslighting me with her "proof".

Thank you for your response. I was told I would get a call back from the deli manager, I have waited a few days now, and no call.

Although this market is not as updated as the Bayside location, it still is very welcoming with cool deals time to time. The manager and all the employees are kind with great customer service. They are more than happy to meet your requests and resolve any concerns.

Walking distance (15 minutes one-way) from me which is cool. Nice selection of items for a small neighborhood store. Friendly staff. Good for a quick stop & go. Plenty of free parking. Definitely recommend.

UPDATE 9/21: Called today & spoke to a very rude employee who was snarky then hung up on me. There's no reason for this kind of behavior. I'm rethinking shopping at this place.

Small, pricey, unremarkable. Their hot food is ALWAYS dried-out. So, don't waste your money. And they charge $10 for a stupid sandwich.

Emblematic of all of Murphy's Markets, this store is very very clean, well run and has experienced help that actually pay attention their customers. Excellent access and a deluxe parking lot with plenty of room to open your doors and organize your cooler. The founder of this local chain is a local guy who started as a box boy and leveraged his bright mind and gentle demeanor into a game previously dominated by the usual mega corps. Murphy's is a great little place.
You can get all of your basic grocery essentials.
Not a super large selection of anything, because it's a small store and sometimes they sleep on getting things reordered for a little while and so I end up going to Safeway or Wildberries if they are out of stock on some things at times, but every person who works there with the exception of a couple of them give you a friendly attitude and a smile. Great chicken strips ? from the hot bar and great handmade sandwiches too. ?
