UPDATE: 11/2024

On my most recent visit, I asked for some of bakery made pasta and watched the server, scoop the salad and it grazed her dirty long thumbnail and she just kept scooping and this happened with both salads. I was appalled! That is disgusting and she should be using gloves on her dirty nailed hands instead of letting it touch the food!!

Our family loves shopping here when we come to town. Employees are friendly and helpful, the store is always clean and well stocked. We enjoy their bakery a lot, their baked goods are very delicious.

I decided to get my holiday meal at Ray's Food Place what a joke all it is is a bunch of freaking TV dinners this ain't a real meal I mean Murphy's markets they actually cook and make the stuff and it's absolutely wonderful and for some reason I decided to go with Ray's this year big mistake this is all they give you is TV dinners I will never ever do this again

You'll pay more at Ray's, but the deli has a nice selection and sometimes they have things the others don't. Great hot sauce and tinned seafood selection at this particular store.

Understaffed often and prices are well above everyone in county . Hot pockets are 4.50 for one box , cheaper at gas station oor can buy 2 from dollar store for 2.50 . I'd rather walk to Safeway and save 30% . Store is overpriced to take advantage of passing through customers and hotel guests but it makes locals go elsewhere. Fortuna location regularly has better pricing. The selection is terrible on most categories .
My normal weekly groceries are around 70-80$ at this store it was 135$ . Nice looking store and few nice staff do not justify the pricing period for years now . They do not care as locals like me have complained about prices for years . Only good prices seem to be on alcohol and town has enough drunks lol

I was racially profiled and accused of stealing by an old hag employee named Lana. As soon as i walked in she told other employees to watch me and she proceeded to stop me as I tried to leave. Even after showing my purse (which i was it required to do) she continued to accuse me of putting items into my clothing. This woman needs to be seriously reprimanded or ideally fired.
