Calling this place famous is a lie; no one knows it exists.
Also it certainly shouldn’t contain the word bakery, as the only bakery item they have are blueberry muffins. Which are garbage by the way. There were 5 blueberries on top and ZERO on the inside.
What a scam.

Do not come here if you are over 21 and you look young while needing to purchase liquor or tobacco products, obviously it is the law to ask for id, but to often they deny my id claiming it is fake even after scanning it when I am 27 years old! They will not believe you and will ask you for two forms of ID

Good corner liquor store. It has all your essentials conveniently located. Easy to get in and out if you’re just stopping to pick up a few things. I’ve never had the deli sandwiches, but I will definitely try them the next time I’m in the area also parking is super easy there’s side parking on the street or right in front next to the store.

Hate to leave a bad review for a local business but my experience was pretty bad today. The "famous turkey club" is listed on the board for $8.29. I was charged $9.29 because it was "changed in the system" but not on the menu?. Eh, no biggie but annoying to be charged a different price with a "sorry bout that". As for the sandwich, pathetic amount of meat and really pathetic microwaved bacon. 2 stars because the bread was good and the veggies on the sandwich were fresh. For a few extra bucks there are some really good options around (Perry's deli and the Santa Venetia Market deli both blow this place out of the water).

This is an important market for the neighborhood that it serves. While it is the only convenience market for miles it doesn't just rely on this fact to succeed. Instead, the owners and operators provide great deli and home cooked items as alternatives to the fast food that are often found and expected at corner stores. I find the people that run the store to be friendly and I often look forward to my morning coffee and quick hellos with the cashier. I've never had a bad experience with the people or the products at the Famous Deli...

Went over 10 yrs ago and had the chicken salad sandwich was delicious but went yesterday and got to the beach to eat our lunch and smelled the chicken and it smelled rotten so I say try it before hand is my opinion...was so disappointed but will have to say they returned it with now prob and all got potato salad and smelled the same...the lady was nice as let my.hubby use the bathroom even thou they didn't have a public one and if I want a reg deli sandwich and want x meat ask cuz my hubby only got to slices on his
His sandwich was ok but the bread is highly recommend so maybe go and just get their bed and make your own sandwich didn't want to leave a review but also didn't want ones to get the food I listed above and take it and.have to return it
