I went there to look at cribs and strollers and they do not have a very large selection of cribs. The thing that bothered me the most was that there were two employees behind the counter and no one acknowledged me to see if I needed help. There was one salesperson with a couple showing them all of the strollers but no one tried to see if I needed help. I was disappointed that I drove all the way over there for no reason. They have a good selection on baby clothes and accessories but the service was so poor I wouldn’t go back.

Molly is great! She was very helpful and took the time to share her knowledge with us.
However, the other associate was extremely rude and dismissive. She was helping a couple so we waited until she had a second to help us. She ignored us, however, she did greet other guests who walked into the store after we did (as my name suggests we belong to a minority group and all other guests who entered the store were white or at least white passing). She only acknowledged us when we were looking at baby clothes which happened to be near the register. At that point she did ask what we needed. After we told her what we were looking for she asked Molly, who was in the back, to help us. That associate never spoke to us directly after that. She spoke to Molly (who, again, was great). We appreciated Molly’s help, but doubt we will go back. Causal racism is not something we support.

Such a great store! Incredible selection of baby & kid things. Molly helped us pick out a travel stroller and car seat today and even helped us put the stroller together. Will definitely return.

Molly is the reason we come into this store. She is so knowledgeable and helpful. She is a rock star at customer service. My daughter actually requests to "go see Molly." But this store also has amazing products and apparel. The clothes last forever. They are perfect for play and look adorable. I wish they sold adult clothes. They also have great strollers and toys (and you never have to worry about chemicals or toxins). We are so lucky to have Molly and Sprout in Mill Valley.

I don't like to leave negative reviews, so I'll keep this short.
I went into the shop, which I've previously loved/raved about, and the sales associate asked if I had any questions.
As a FT mom, 4m pregnant, I know very little and decided to engage further about strollers and popular choices or features.
I was immediately met with an aggressive and unsupportive "well depends what you want". End of sentence.
Being curious for more information on all the options I continued the conversation while the associate spoke very loudly at me in a harsh tone. It was clear she wasn't very warm or patient.
Her answers were extremely demeaning-- as though I should already know these things about the 50 stroller options that all look entirely the same.

Understandably we all have rough days, I myself left feeling stupid, awful, and very emotional. It was not the informative experience I was hoping for as a new mother looking for advise from a well established baby store.
Nonetheless, I was extremely disappointed with this sales associates lack of kindness and service. Though I don't plan on boycotting the store, I do think this associates behavior should be brought to the owners attention.

Wonderful service, they always go an extra mile to get what I want, both locations SF And Marin have been wonderful to our family. Great place to buy car seats as the sales clerks are highly knowledgably about what is available, what is good and bad about each product.

Amazing customer service at Sprout! I ordered a nursing pillow over the phone and changed the details of the order a number of times due to changing circumstances. Everyone I spoke with was so gracious and accommodating. I really appreciated the ladies working at Sprout and definitely recommend this place!

Molly is so helpful and knowledgeable. We literally knew nothing about strollers and she helped us narrow it down.
