I had an easy time buying a gift for a couple at Diptyque Marin. Matteo was super helpful when selecting two home sprays for a Lunar New Year gift for friends who were new homeowners. Gorgeous Rose & La Drogerie (with it’s herbaceous fragrance). Both - so good!
The Lunar New Year snakeskin designed box is gorgeous! They even had Chinese red envelopes to put inside my friend’s gift box!
My friends will be thrilled since they are new to Diptyque. They will also learn how these great French products will elevate their time at home!

I purchased a few items last Tuesday and the lady who helped me was very sweet, patient and helpful. So, I decided to go there again a few days later to purchase a bottle of Orpheon and to make an exchange of an item. There were three people, two ladies and a gentleman working there that day. The lady who helped me last Tuesday was not there. The two ladies looked very unfriendly towards me, and completely ignored my existence, but the gentleman was very attentive and understanding about my needs to make an exchange. But, he needed approval from the two ladies for the exchange. The ladies approved the exchange and so, I gladly said thank you to one of the ladies standing in front of me. She did not respond back to me. She even looked at me with unwelcoming gesture. Was it because I was the minority, or what? I really appreciate the gentleman who helped me but decided not to get the Orpheon perfume. I won’t shop there again.

Strolling through Marin Mart with a friend we decided to try some scents and ended up spending a lot of time with Matteo. He asked us what we like in a scent and he nailed it, coming up with so many possibilites. I knew that Diptyque was a quality brand but I had no idea about the scope of options there. If you cannot find something you like here, I would be surprised. And Matteo was so knowledgeable about all of the products. We identified multiple options and left with big smiles on our faces. Lovely candles and gifts for others here as well. We will be back!

I went in just to browse and possibly buy. The girl who was working was nice, but not really friendly or welcoming. It felt more like it was an imposition that I walked in. Then two women came in who clearly were more well off than me and she was extra nice to them. I was going to buy a perfume, but decided I'd just order online after the experience.

Great customer service and some of the most unique, luxury otherworldly scents/ fragrances / candles. We got fragrances and candles and we are so happy with it all! We have traveled all around the world and these are some of the best scents I’ve ever discovered. Lovely!
