We purchased a snack from Aashirwad Supermarket with an expiration date of January 17, 2025, but I unknowingly bought it on January 21, 2025. When I called to address the issue, the response was that even Walmart sells expired products. This isn’t the first time we’ve encountered such an issue. Although we didn’t raise it previously, I decided to report it this time, and the customer service experience has been disappointing.

I been here 2 times to this market mostly because my mother is Indian. She visiting ,this super market has
a lot good variety of Indian products. But I will say that the cashier girl has Zero customers service rude, we purchase our grocery, finished paying, she never bothered to push our grocery close to us, so we could access it and place it in our shopping cart.
I had to go my self almost into the cashier register to get my groceries.

People need to learn how to be polite. This is not India. Welcome to the USA.
Thanks God I don't have to come here grocery shopping.

This is actually a beautiful grocery store. The shopping experience itself is fun. Their vegetables are so fresh and so low in prices. They carry all the big brands and almost everything you need in your pantry plus more. Shelves are nicely organised and aisles are spacious. And the staff is always helpful and kind to us. Definitely recommend this store.

Customer service sucks here. God forbid if you need help in finding something because all you get from the staff is 'Go, look yourself' or 'look properly, it should be there'. They lack common courtesy or decency on how to treat a customer and it's evident on how many people are leaving reviews on the bad customer service, I hope that the management take this seriously and provide basic customer engagement training to the staff because it is a good place to shop for Indian/south Asian groceries hence leaving 2 stars instead 1.

Aashirwad supermarket is a great place to shop for all your Indian food ingredients. They sell food items i.e.from Raw ingredients, Vegetables, Fruits and Sweets / snacks to ready cook or eat food items. They also have a huge stock of Pujan Samagri (items of prayers), they also arrange for specific items related to your specific Poja needs.

It is located in a convenient place with lots of parking space.

This place is absolutely worth buying your desi groceries from. They have fresh fruits, and vegetables with a wide range of variety. The store is huge, very clean, perfectly organized, and plenty of room between each aisle to walk through. Huge parking lot. They also have a WhatsApp group that posts weekly deals, etc. Great variety of grocery and reasonable pricing.

I went there not entirely sure what to expect. Was taken by surprise. It’s a large Supermarket and had everything I was looking for. If you are in and around Whitehall and looking for Indian stuff head here. It’s like shopping in any Indian Supermarket back home. Staff is friendly and in an alien land to find stuff one is familiar with is a feeling that cannot be expressed in words.

Should have realist expiry dates on the products. For example, buns can't stay for over 3 months. Expiry dates on the products are not printed, instead labelled with the printed dates. That's enough to know that the dates are tricked.
Otherwise, they have all the Indian items available at the store.
