Drove here from hella far on Sunday. The website, Google, and even the door says they open Sundays at 11pm. We got there close to noon. It was closed. There wasn’t a notice or anything around the store that explained why it was closed. A note would’ve been good, you know? I understand things come up, but jeez this ruined plans. Ended up having to go to another comic book shop in Fremont.

A nice little shop that's been around for almost two decades. They have a bit of every popular card game and the owner is somewhat knowledgeable on what is popular. One of the negatives is that it is a bit more expensive compared to other cards and comic shops.

I strongly recommend avoiding this card shop. Over the weekend, I decided to give it a second chance after a poor initial experience, hoping the first visit was just an off day for the owner. Unfortunately, the second trip was even worse.

To start, the store is an absolute mess. It’s difficult to see what’s inside the display cases because they’re obstructed by large stacks of boxes. The owner is incredibly rude and lacks any sense of professionalism or friendliness, which makes for a very unpleasant shopping experience.

Regarding pricing, while I understand that hobby shops often have markups, the prices here are outrageous. For example, they were charging $900 for a WNBA Select box that typically sells for under $600. I don’t mind paying a bit more to support a good local shop, but these prices are completely unreasonable.

To make matters worse, I purchased a box marked at $140, and despite the owner agreeing to honor that price, I was still charged $179 at checkout. I didn’t argue because I just wanted to leave, but this kind of shady behavior is unacceptable.

This shop desperately needs new ownership—someone who actually cares about the hobby and treats customers with respect. As it stands, it’s run by someone who seems miserable and uninterested in providing a welcoming or professional environment. Save yourself the frustration and take your business elsewhere.

Not sure why so many people have left negative reviews about the owner and her store but I can only speak on my experience. I walked randomly on a Sunday, I walked in said hello the Lady who owned the store said hello back. I browsed around for a few minutes taking in the endless amount of comic options, I felt like a kid again I really loved the variety of comics they had there. After a few minutes the owner kindly asked if I was looking for anything in particular that she could help recommend, I said no nothing in particular because I already had a few comics in mind. Then she was nice enough to explain how the entire store is organized so that it could me with my search. I ended up buying a few comic books and we had a great 10 minute conversation about comics, her history in the business, upcoming comics that are going to release soon. I had a great experience at this comic book store, the owner was very kind and welcoming. I feel like some people expect a grand performance everytime someone walks into the store. Someone people will just greet you and let you look around until you have questions. The owner was great and I highly recommend this comic shop whenever you’re in the area. This is my go to store.

I went there recently with my friends and the lady was so nice!! She was really friendly and engaged in conversation even if we didn’t talk much.

The store overall has lots of great items- ranging from comics to figures, definitely recommended to check it out! I got a Sabo figure and Sonic comic, worth the money. :,) Looking forward to going there even more now.

A few weeks ago, we dropped in after a few bars to see what the store has available. I bought 3 packs of 2018 Topps Baseball cards for 40 dollars a pack. I’m looking for an Ohtani RC. Two pack in and I don’t have any luck. The last pack had an Ohtani Rookie! Mission Accomplished. Thanks for the good luck.

Solid selection of sports cards, YuGiOh, and Pokémon cards with a good smattering of MTG and Digimon for the bigger nerds among us. Comics are a big tricky to navigate because they just have tons of inventory so can be harder to find a specific thing and easier to pick out a random comic. Prices were fair though I mainly looked at cards and books.
