I stayed between August 13,2024 - September 1, 2024 roughly and I like going here but I had an absolute horrible experience with the guest upstairs and didn't get one night sleep. Could I get a Refund? It was very unfortunate that I had gotten into a crash and had to stay in a hotel to recover from a concussion and didn't get one night sleep while I stayed here... I'm sorry.... Alaska Motel Inn. but I will not be coming back tell I get my full Refund. Also had belongings stolen from my room while it was locked and my dog was Molested by someone when I came back from work at 5pm.

For the price and value this is a great place. It's not perfect by any means and isn't a luxury hotel, but overall we have been extremely satisfied with our stay and would stay again!

Not completely disappointed, however every 3 to 7 minutes somebody else's remote control is controlling my TV, I am completely frustrated, it is absolutely the most annoying thing I've ever dealt with, the room is just fine, it would be nice if there was an alarm clock offered but there's not any kind of timing device in the room, aside from that there's no blankets there's a thin sheet and a thin secondary sheet you could call it, and it's Alaska and it's still in the winter time so that's a little bit frustrating, I stood outside for about 7 minutes waiting for somebody to answer at the office nobody ever did and it was windy and cold, I never met a person in real life, but I got a phone call back with the door code so at least I got into the room it's nice and comfortable, besides the fact that we have spent 3 hours trying to watch one movie on Netflix and keep getting shoved to somebody's nasty rap music on YouTube, so that is our fun night tonight! Aside from that I read all the reviews, didn't get to meet any live people, but look forward to it next time maybe. And definitely also, more than two sugar packets for coffee would be really great and an alternative sugar like Splenda or stevia would be really awesome, there's six creamers but two sugar packets, so I had to go out and buy coffee additives.

Last summer, I stayed at the Alaskan View for a month while I was working in Wasilla. The crew was welcoming, friendly, and fabulously accommodating. The rooms were simple but clean, comfortable, and surprisingly quiet for being next to a busy road. I felt safe, and the experience felt much more like staying with friends than staying in a motel. Highly recommend for short or long term stays!

I stayed at the Alaska View Motel before and it’s so different now with new management. It’s safe, clean and quiet with homy vibes. The location is close to everything and convenient for longer drives as well. The staff really wants you to enjoy your stay and are very accommodating. It’s a smaller locally owned place where you can reserve a room on their website or call. Enjoy beautiful Alaska!

I've been here for the last week. Linda has been a very accommodating host. I was here for three days, left for one then came back. I found both rooms to be clean, no off-putting smells and no maintenance issues. Its barebones minimum as you should expect for a motel in this price range. No A/C but its July and heat hasn't been an issue. I love that its right off the main road so easy in and out. The minor road noise has not been an issue for me. I can barely hear it with the door closed and cant hear it at all with fan in the rear window. Full beds, not queens. Great wifi service. No complaints. I'm back now for the third time for four more days.

Well I’ve got to say that the new owner, Mrs. Linda it by far the sweetest and most genuine woman that truly cares about her customers and their satisfaction. She has done an amazing job so far with getting this place up to par considering what she was dealt when buying the Alaskan view. Her and All her staff are working hard to get this place remodeled and cleaned up. I do highly recommend the Alaskan View if you need a place to stay for only a night or if it’s weekly or monthly stay. Linda, Vee and the other workers make this a very comfortable, welcoming and friendly environment. Oh and if you have pets they do have some pet rooms available as well. So please give the Alaskan View as well as the owner and staff the opportunity to provide a nice, clean, comfortable stay for you and yours. As I am so happy that I’ve had the opportunity to stay and meet everyone here.

A friend gave me a ride from Valdez . I needed to repair wife's car which was still another 80 miles away. Now on foot.. Stayed the night . Snowing hard. Ride delayed till mid afternoon. Management said OK to stay till ride showed up w/o extra fees incurred. Good old stand up Alaskan spirit.
