Located in the vibrant downtown, Mountain View with tons of other restaurant, it’s a great place to grab some quick coffee and pastry. On a lovely sunny day, we can sit outside and people watch while you enjoy your coffee. The selection was quite good, and everything looked very delicious, although a bit pricey. I settled with an almond croissant, which was very well done. I also got an iced latte, which again was a little bit expensive, but again very well made. Had it been a little more economical? I would have given this place a five star. Nevertheless, it’s a good choice if you want some pastries and coffee.

I've been to Alexander's Patisserie several times, and they truly are a good place to visit if you're looking for well-decorated and beautiful desserts. They taste good as well and are primarily mousse based which some people may prefer. The price is a bit steep, but you can see the quality and craftsmanship in their desserts so I don't think it's too expensive for what they sell.

Staff is helpful but has spilled several of our drinks when serving them at the table. The seating area is often full and crowded and can't accommodate large groups, but you could also try to sit outdoors. The indoor dining also is a bit messy as people are constantly coming in and out.

It's a classic spot for a hot drink and a dessert, and I definitely frequent Alexander's when I'm in the area!

I recently visited Alexander's Patisserie, and it’s safe to say this is not your average bakery. From the moment you step inside, you’re greeted with a stunning display of pastries and cakes that are nothing short of edible art. The attention to detail in the design is incredible each treat feels like a masterpiece made just for you. Whether you’re looking for a show stopping cake for a special event or just a beautiful pastry to brighten your day, this bakery delivers on creativity.

But it’s not all about looks. The flavors live up to the aesthetic, and then some. Every bite bursts with rich, fresh ingredients, perfectly balanced, and undeniably delicious. The croissants are buttery and flaky, And the unique flavor combinations make for a memorable experience.

However, all this artistry comes with a price. While the quality is undeniable, the prices are on the higher side, which might make it more of an occasional indulgence rather than a daily treat. If you’re looking for something special and don’t mind paying a bit extra for both taste and presentation, this bakery is

4.5/5 Well executed, perfectly looking desserts!
I wasn't expecting to find a good quality bakery in the Bay Area, but was happy to stumble upon this one.

I try pistachio desserts wherever I go and these ones were solid: not overwhelmingly sweet, the one with the raspberry mousse was so well balanced (in many places raspberry overpowers, but here it was perfectly creamy and subtle), beautifully designed with a stable mousse (which survived a day-long transportation!), crunchy and well-layered croissant.

The only missing bit was pistachio tasting not strong enough. I wish it were so that the desserts could be perfect in every way.

Beautiful interiors and presentations always satisfy us. But my favorite Earl Grey tart didn't taste like Earl Grey at all. Maybe it's because the chocolate sheet taste is too strong. It was a pity.

I came home from a long day at work to an amazing surprise from my friend- 3 pastries from Alexander's!

To say that the one I've eaten so far was sumptuous would be the understatement of the century. Definitely one of the most exquisite pastries I've ever had!

Very good desserts and friendly staff. I personally prefer Alyzee across the street for their more experimental and creative flavors, but if you want excellent, classic desserts done well, this place is golden.
