I used to love coming to this place, I would frequent it quite a bit. The volunteer staff is great, the items are usually pretty good, but the pricing seems to have no rhyme or reason. About a year ago if you were to buy a tie, it would range from $2-$5. Now they’re well over $10. The same price increase came with just about everything. I understand that this isn’t a for profit store, but I do think that the price increases came dramatically and without warning. Still, I enjoy looking and if there is something nice to pick up for a decent price, I will. I would recommend checking it out, in fact I bring friends here all the time, but do be wary what you’ll end up paying.

Great thrift store with an excellent selection. Was happy to find a pair of dress pants in their designer section for $24. Some of the pricing is a little off, but I thought this one was a steal. And benefits a good cause 🙂

Best discount boutique in Los Altos. Through the generous donations of Los Altos Hills and Los Altos residents, the Discovery Shop carries quality items at a fraction of the original prices. Escada, Chloe, Jenni Kayne, Eileen Fisher, Trina Turk, Coach, Prada, JJill, Chico’s, Gap, Limoges, Lenox, Villeroy&Bock, vintage crystal, silver, collectibles can all be found in this shop. And all proceeds go to the American Cancer Society. Get great deals, help the Earth by buying repurposed goods, and donate to a worthy cause.

Once upon a time, before COVID, I could come here and shop for nice things at very very low prices as gifts for my family and myself. Today, prices, no exaggeration, have gone 4 times higher. I left empty-handed ?

The volunteers here are all so lovely and nice to chat with! I would've given this a 5 for what is a well stocked store, with quality and branded items to choose from. The prices are all over the place quit honestly. Some things I felt were a steal; others, I think are a complete joke and exceptionally high. I found no overall rhyme or reason for the pricing method to be frank.

Lots of nice clothes and all sizes from designer, vintage, and current trends. This is one of my favorite thrift shops. Friendly staff, most are volunteers. You can find some great deals here. My new favorite place to shop. It’s like a treasure hunt.
