Update to initial review. Although the upfront cost seemed to be a lot, we ended up eating the leftovers over a 2-3 day period. The Detroit style pizza was even better the following day. It’s unbelievable how filing this pizza is.
I also appreciate the owners response and look forward to trying again. A friend of mine explained some of the issues I had were from slices platform just an fyi.

American Dough Company in Morton, PA, proved to be a mixed experience for me. The online ordering process was frustrating, requiring multiple attempts and eventually leading me to order through a different site. Additionally, I found it odd that soda was not available for online ordering, though I am unsure if it is offered in-store.

I tried "The Franklin Pizza," a large pie topped with cupped pepperoni, red sauce, brick cheese, parm cheese, and a drizzle of spicy honey. While the pizza had the perfect Detroit-style crisp on the edges, I felt that the honey was missing. The sauce was delicious, striking a balance between sweet and tangy, with a perfect cheese-to-sauce ratio. I would rate this pizza a 4/5.

On the other hand, my order of a small white pizza with tomato and broccoli in Detroit style arrived as a round pizza, disappointing my desire to try the Detroit style. This pizza was just okay for me, earning a rating of 2/5.

The Cheese Steak, resembling a Stromboli, was intriguing and tasty but a bit dry. It could have benefited from some sauce or ketchup. Despite this, I would be willing to give it another try, still unsure about the pricing as the menu states “cheesesteak” one should expect cheese yet they charged for cheese it’s very strange not sure if it’s a glitch. rating it a 3/5.

The delivery driver was friendly and arrived punctually. However, I was taken aback by the pricing, feeling that the quality did not quite match the cost. Additionally, the presence of a servicing and delivery fee with unclear details on its purpose left me with some reservations.

Overall, my experience at American Dough Company was a mix of positives and negatives, and I probably would not try again.

The people is absolutely amazing!!! The best in our area without a doubt. The thick Detroit style is really unique and delicious. We can’t wait to try the circle pie next. Regardless, this will forever be our go-to place.

Different cheesesteak #1066 in the last five years. I left with more questions than answers. Is a cheesesteak stromboli a cheesesteak in a sealed roll? I guess I should have known it was pizza and strombolis only. I can understand the low reviews on Google maps. My cheesesteak stromboli was very good. I took it to Ship Bottom Brewing. I liked my beer. Should I be happy I liked my beer or sad they didn’t have more beers in my genre to choose from? $15.85 but I can feed a lot of people (at least a couple small people). At the end of the day this trip was a win for me.

Delicious pizza comes from American Dough Company in Morton. I had The Franklin Detroit style with cupping pepperoni and drizzled spicy honey, the wife had the Margherita. Both were delicious and perfectly done. The Franklin was crispy all over underneath while still keeping a good chewy crust. Check them out if you get a chance, you won't be disappointed

I ordered from this places 3 times now. The first pizza was smashed to the top of the box. I called they offered to send another one. I told them is was fine and ate it. It was very good. Second time no issue. Well today I got pizza that tasted burnt. The pepperoni was dry the bottom tasted burnt. It was a bad pie. 2

Recently American Dough Company opened near by. I've been on the search for a new local pizza spot and this is it!

Ordered the Italian stallion Detroit style pizza, jalapeño poppers, and onion rings. (Only took a picture of the pizza)

I have to say that this is one hefty pizza and it's delicious! Onion rings and jalapeño poppers had a nice crunch to them and were fresh.

Will definitely be back soon to try other menu items.
